Hi Barry. Sorry, I've had a cold that's kept me down lately and haven't been up to much. Had hoped to see Britannia and Cromwell this coming Saturday, but other things have come up instead. Therefore the next steam I shall see on the Main Line will be next week when Princess Elizabeth comes down through Totton on her way to Swanage followed by Clan Line the following week.
00:13:43 - “The ghost statue” said Matt Mouse and Plucky Duck. They raced away is fast as their legs and feet will carry them. “Ha ha ha. You were probably just dreaming, Matt Mouse” said Sylvester Jr. “didn’t you to find yourself making me quick?” “Mr Cat I was awake” said Matt Mouse, “I just saw a statue shaped like a hand and it blew steam at me.”
I'm sorry to hear you've been poorly. Good luck with Lizzie. I look forward to seeing that. I won't get to see Lizzie until August 2012. Get well soon. I'm planning to film Clan Line, Britannia twice and Ollie this week so look out for those. Barry
The ole Reverend took a lot of inspiration from the places he went and the things he did. His stories are one the reasons why people love this. It’s a reminder to slow down and enjoy things in life.
I would have liked to have been at Chatham Dockyard, never been there. I was at Brooklands on Sunday and Goodwood yesterday. I am distraught as I will miss Princess Elizabeth at St Deny's/Totton/Swanage too.
Hiya Dan, Haven't heard from you for a while. I trust you are okay? Nice looking at Chatham Dockyard as my Dad served there in World War II. I filmed Tornado last week passing Camden Road. No speed but an unusual location. Be nice to hear from you. Barry
Very nice video and great scene. Greetings. Stefano.
Nice to see all the locos running!
What a great show, thanks for sharing.
Hey! That's my town! That's where I come from!!!

This locomotive is bizarre

Rochester Castle shifts gears really quick, it's as if someone has swapped the transmission out for an Alison 4000 series automatic.
I like those vehicles

sydenham's wheels keep throwing me off
IKR! I always think the ‘side rods’ move, but they don’t 🤣

I kind of want a small steam tractor for gardening
Why do geared locomotives like Sydenham have what look like coupling rods mounted on their axles?
I think that they might be spacer rods to keep to wheels apart maybe.
There’s only one T in ROCHESTER (castle) !
Spelled Achilles wrong too, only one 'i'. Needs correcting or future archivists will get confused :-)
How can you keep getting 'Rochester' wrong when it's on the side of the loco?
Who cares?
Thank you. I certainly don't.
It aint Rotchester, noodle! It's Rochester!
Would that be because she's running tender-first from Eastleigh to Swanage?
at 02:42 Achillies is there because her parts went of victory

Looks like a good event, how many people were there for the event? Looks busy

Achilles, Victory and Ajax. I recognize those names! Were they named after 3 British warships HMS Ajax HMS Victory and HMS Achilles?
what does ST mean?
It means saddle tank i think
@@harrymcandrew1447 It Might also mean 'Side Tank'
