Outstanding to see you've gotten everything to the point of modularity that you can produce these different flavors of amps without much fuss. Way to go, Terry! They sound fantastic!
Love that classic tone. I’ve got two of these going into an earthquaker devices swiss things splitter and into two 12” cabs for stereo. The splitter has a phase inverter which is nice. Sounds really good and it’ll get loud I have to keep the vol at about 4. Thanks Terry your amps are awesome!
I heard a Champion 600 with the 6sj7 pentode and it sounded great overdriven. Exactly what Leo was trying to eliminate but great just the same. The Super Raven has got "it". Great job Terry! 👍
Sounding good Terry. Tremolo sounds great. Can you remind me if you’ve done a boutique style amp with both tremolo/vibrato AND (spring) reverb? That’s what I want to try…..
Here’s what I recently did with an old “Traynor” 4 channel YVM-3 light weight transistor PA amp head. I couldn’t stand the push/pull 2N3055 transistor output stage, so stripped it and the power transformer out and added transformer/components for a push/pull tube output stage with a couple of 6V6’s after the preamp. This YVM has 4 channel selectable spring reverb in the pre-amp, but no tremolo. With guitar, I like the tube output tone much better now and will consider adding a tremolo circuit as well. This outputs to two Traynor 10” column speaker sets. But still looking for a small combo with all-in, smaller than a Vibroverb.
You can’t make a dirty amp sound clean, but you can make a clean amp sound dirty. I think many guys are looking for a small bedroom friendly set up that can take you to the verge of break up . Pedals can take it from there.
The original Raven used the 6F6. High voltage is 250VDC, so not close to the max rating. You can use a 6V6 but it wont gain you anything except for higher cost
Terry, I really admire your 'modular' approach to building amps. I see SO much 're-inventing the wheel' on here (RUclips). This is refreshing!
Thank you Sir, It is my goal
Really like the Super Raven
I like the middle one the vox one I think you get a little more clarity out of it
For some reason I like the AC4. Amp in the center. I like clean.
Love the chimey ac vox!

Thank you Sir. Its been a fun project. I plan to make more as soon as some of these sell
I always enjoy when I can hear a guitar demo at the end of the amp project. These look and sound great!
Terry’s they all sound amazing! I like the Fender a lot and I think Super Raven is it for me

Wow, now I’m thinking the AC 4
I liked it, too. Sure is bright.
Vibro champ is the best low power amp.
Thanks! Terry 🔉🎸
Your amp designs always sound great.
Hey Terry, cool set of amps..Just what is needed nowadays..Great ideas, and good luck with it all..I'm watching..Ed..uk..😃

Very nice Terry. I believe I like the GT the best.
Sounds great

I agree. These amps are under 4 watts
The fellow playing, and the young guy that has played in the past are very good. Others, not so much. They just make noise.
Nice!
I am getting ready to build an AC4x. I have all the parts.
I guess you had the transformers on hand (or from Hammond?)
I looked Mom Reverb, but didn't see any. Am I searching the wrong thing?
Search for D-lab
What kind of speaker in the cabinet?
Whats the point in using a 6f6 instead of a 6v6. 10 watts plate dissipation verses 12?

That makes sence terry. Dwight.
