- A video detailing the original story to Bully we never got towards the end of the game, originally chapter 5 would play out much differently, but thanks to Rockstar's laziness, there's enough left over files to piece together what they originally had planned.

I love bully but rdr2 has topped it as my favorite rockstar games
@@theoutsiderjess1869 I totally understand you, they’re almost on par for me, bully is just so nostalgic for me though. Both of the soundtracks are amazing though, I cried with rdr2’s, and felt a severe sense of nostalgia with bully’s. Both great games with great plots honestly.

I love Bully but all the beta stuff makes the game sound so much better. Wish a lot of the beta content was used instead of being scrapped.

very few are used in the final game still like the quotes and sounds and im pretty grateful for that
I always felt that everyone loving Jimmy after ruining the big game felt extremely out of character I get what Rockstar was going for but it doesn't work that well

As Pete said, not everyone likes him, you can hear some characters talking bad about Jimmy behind his back when they are having a conversation with other peds

That’s how it goes for each Chapter though.
In order to restore chaos and the School breaking out into Fights (Complete Mayhem could have happened easily on a random day, they just needed someone to ignite the Torch, which was Gary) Jimmy needs to earn respect for each Clique, he can only do that by Beating all the Leaders for the cliques, to show that he’s someone that can’t be messed with
After you defeat each clique’s leader they’re not a problem anymore (at least for Jimmy)
This doesn’t change for the Jock’s, defeating Ted (especially since he defeated him in a Football Match) makes the Jock’s stop bullying Jimmy, or in which case, they like him now.
I came back to this video today, because I had a weird idea in my head.
What if - there werent 3 versions of Final Showdown, but 3 endings?
Imagine possible scenarios:
- Jimmy either loses fight with Gary or chicken out. Gary wins, restores peace and order, and Jimmy gets expelled. He Goes to the 7_01 and takes one last look at Bullworth with Pete before he'd be fetched by his Mother and moved to Another school - bad ending
- Jimmy fights with Gary, beats him, both of them Fall through Glass ceiling, and Gary dies. Jimmy still gets expelled, but at least he won, and stood up to Bullies. Jimmy Goes to visit Gary's grave at 7-03 - normal ending (with remains being the final cutscene having Gary unconscious)
BTW how did Jimmy survived? Landed on top of Gary probably, which saves him, and deals deadly damage to Gary.
- Jimmy fights Gary, but Just before dealing a final blow he says something extremely cliche like "Im not a bully like you". Gary breaks free, but still gets beaten up by all of the clique leaders we gathered (as said in this video), and dragged into Crabblesnitch office - from here an actual used cutscene Plays, Jimmy Goes back to school, everyone cheers for him - best ending.
Its only natural that implementing 3 different endings would be a lot of work, and by that Time they were on a tight schedule.
Besides the good/normal/bad ending should be a consequence of at least few actions taken during the gameplay, many players in that situation would probably reload the Save and finish the game differently.
And So the devs decided to join normal and best ending, and give the full satisfaction to the players.
Does this argument hold water?
I'm dropping the same comment on Nathan, Swegta, Simonbestia and Deadpool channels BTW.
Just when I think I know everything about this game I somehow keep learning something I never knew about it.
Facts dude. The modding community and youtubers keep making me go back to Bully and finish the game from the start again

@Reaver bully 2008 remastered was a rushed remaster the only good thing was a little graphical improvement
Maybe that cutscene was added later in development?
Since Jimmy says "townies", which is the final version name for them compared to "Dropouts", which is what Johnny says in his mission.
@@DreadedGhoul575 good point but they could've tried to make some changes so it wouldn't sound that Jimmy got the idea of them working for Garry out of nowhere unless it was a last minute change

My only question, is how mr. burton and other people didn't notice gurney (that townie that set the gym on fire) when he ran away from the gym

I mean how did he even get inside the gym to begin with? Sure Mandy did notice him but wouldn't he cause the others to be suspcious of him?

I wish that gary,pete and jimmy are friends and they take over the school(harder boss) so jimmy has partner in crime in a mission cuz seems like most of the mission jimmy has no partner or ally
Wish the game didn’t have to be rated teen. There’s so much more they could’ve done with it. Yet it’s still a classic
tbh, i think that the t rating is the main reason why bully has many plot holes and other things that just don't stick with the story we got
@@bizarrou Yeah probably. Also it might never have gotten greenlit in the first place if they'd stuck with the more adult themes
The rating doesn't have much to do with the story being changed. It's moreso development being rushed.
If anything, I'm glad the game is rated T. It makes the game a lot more unique than it already is.
Yeah, I remember the weird order the missions are assigned in game files.
But after all those discoveries - considering the fact, that the game had to go through dozens of changes, was postponed, and faced problems before it was released, we are still really lucky to have it.
Remember all the games that were cancelled despite being complete, or almost complete ?
My guess is, in 2006 they already knew, that their next goal would be GTA IV, and they didnt wanted to spend extra time doing bug fixes, removing potentially controversial stuff etc. And so they just removed what wasnt working properly, and glued the remaining stuff together (pretty much same was done with GTA San Andreas), resulting with PS2 release. Bringing back features in Scholarship Edition resulted in more bugs. And so on...
Sure, this could be fixed by fans, as many games were through the years. But it would require us to have the deleted stuff

You might think this is dumb but don't forget Jack got to play the original one and he knew alot about the unreleased beta features

And them changing the original story was probably the best thing to do in the first place Plot holes or not

But back then in 2006 none of this happened
The 2000s were more nostalgic and happier times, especially 2010s bully having the original route it would have just wouldn't seem to fit the way I see it

According to the Bully Fandom, there was a removed feature in Bustin In mission: Jimmy would hop on to the back of the bike Russell rides on and when that happens, members of the other four school cliques would chase after Jimmy and Russell, who would get knocked out by Jimmy with a slingshot similar to Wrong Part of Town
Huh. First time I've made it to one of these videos within literal minutes of it being uploaded. Great job as always! Though I wish we could get our hands on more info regarding Final Showdown and its multiple outcomes. Maybe even that missing second theme if it still exists somewhere.
Such a sad thing to think about that almost all missions in this game have some sort of cut content

I tried to Install texture mods like that in the game but it doesnt work and it wont show up in the game

this is why we need a bully rewritten, the game is really charming and good but undeniably rushed plotwise

Hi guys, I have a question, I have a bully on my computer, but when the game starts, it says "bully.exe has stopped working" on the loading screen and crashes, does anyone know why?
*EDIT:* Silent patch didn't work, still crashes, I ran it in compatibility mode, I tried all the patches, I added the steam library, but it doesn't work, please help me, I love this game so much!!

I feel another thing that would have happened is that after Rats in the Library and Finding Johnny Vincent you would have gained full respect with the nerds/greasers but with the Gym is Burning and Preppies vandalized you would have only gained half or no respect with Jocks/Preppies. I think that would have made things much more interesting
