One cannot comprehend the excitement and joy I had when I not only recognized that Kilowog's VA was the same as the animated show but that Razor was also included, meaning we're finally given hope that his story could be continued.
I honestly haven’t been this surprised by a show in a long time. I’m so glad I wasn’t spoiled. This really made my day. Razer deserves to be included in other DC media. Also I really want a season 2 of GLAS. Maybe a comic if that’s too much just to finish up some of the loose threads.
This will never not be funny I love this character and I didn’t watch a whole lot of the Green Lantern series but I remember young Justice and I loved it. Both of them needed more seasons. I hope he finds Aya eventually. Poor guy needs a break.

Though justice league and justice league unlimited weren't really a series with long running stories, it was never boring. Even with characters I thought I wouldn't care about.
This was a very pleasant surprise. Never imagined they would bring back Razer in this show. So good of YJ staff to continue the story that didn't finish in Green Lantern TAS.

Razer though was an original character from the animated series and he has both his design and his original voice actor. Although probably wasn’t hard getting them to reprise their roles given they’ve played many characters in this series such as Kevin Michael Richardson (who plays Kilowog) is also Martian Manhunter, Nabu, the John Stewart green lantern and many others, Dee Bradley Baker (who’s Tomar-Re) was also Wolf, Desad, Hal Jordan Green lantern, and others, and Jason Spisack (who’s razor) is also Wally West as well as Forager (the brown one)

My jaw DROPPED! A month ago I literally rewatched GTAS for the first time since it aired, and when it ended I like "Damn, wish they brought this back like Young Justice". It is fate that now they have continued on from that ending IN "Young Justice"! WHAT?! 🤯 I REALLY hope we see much more of this, and fully resolve GTAS' loose end, as Razor's last line in the episode infers. SO HYPED! Man, this season of Young Justice is shaping up to be a DOOZY!

Who knew Razer had hair? I was so emotional doing this episode! I was crying throughout the whole episode with joy! I was so thrilled when they brought back Razer and other characters from the GLA animated series. Please watch the show! It's so good! We have been waiting years for closure! Razer was one of my favorite characters because of what he went through. I hope they will still continue his story in YounG Justice and not be done with him.

Like "Young Justice" it was cancelled prematurely due to poor toy sales as well as its association to a live action movie that was not well received. Many of fans of the series were not expecting the return of one of its most popular original characters and we are pleasantly surprised. Many people are also hoping that Razer's arc be properly concluded since it was left at a cliffhanger in the original series.

I never watched the old GL show, but I'm so happy the fans are getting some closure! Still crying over here that the Legion is essentially erased until Superboy is brought back, and knowing the current Imra, Reep and Tinya will likely vanish once time fixes itself - but getting Green Lantern lore is always a win.
One thing I can tell you about Razer was that he was a mess at first. But he got better over time thanks to Hal, Kilowag, and Aya being there for him. Especially Hal. Saint Walker and the other Blue Lanterns too. But if they're taking bits and pieces of his story from the GL series. I wonder if Atrocitus will appear. Bc the last time we saw him, Razer kicked his ass real good.
But those 3 legionaires will be replaced once every thing is set back to normal right? Like there would still be phantom girl, saturn girl even if the ones we are seeing disappeared. Or will those 3 be erased forever?

The three we see now are from a different history, just as Bart is - if they return to the future to see if everything was fixed, the Time Stream will overlap their existence with their new versions, those accurate to the fixed timeline.
I’m so happy to see Razor again but also finally as a Blue Lantern, it both warms and breaks my heart to see him this way. To see him feeling hopeless after so many years of searching.
So my reaction to this was like this: “Oh cool Kilawog, is that his same VA from GLAS? Oh woah a blue lantern I really like them cool to see. Huh he kinda looks like Razer, HOLY SHIT ITS ACTUALLY RAZER!!! *excited and shocked squeals of delight*” Seriously though it was such a pleasure to see him again, it brings a little bit of closure. Words cannot begin to express how happy I got when I saw both Kilowag and Razer were in this arc of Young Justice. Even more so given that the voice actors from the Green Lantern Animated Series reprised their roles! Man I love this show even more than I already did!
I guess this confirms that Josh Keaton is indeed the voice for Hal Jordan in this series. Seriously, anytime Green Lantern has screen time in Young Justice, he's mute. I mean he did say No when Flash suggested Guy Gardner be recruited into the Justice League in season 1, but could anyone clearly hear Hal's voice over John Stewart deep Kevin Michael Richardson voice?
According to IMDB it was Dee Bradley Baker who has played Hal in previous appearances and while Josh Keaton is in Young Justice I don’t think there’d be any objections to him being Hal again and Grey Griffin who was Aya has played many characters in this series so I don’t think she’d object to being Aya again if they went that route.
@Animestar17 not wrong although I don’t know exactly why Beast Boy’s original voice actor from season 1 and 2 didn’t come back but the YJ crew could fall back on puberty if they felt they needed to explain why his voice changed or it’d be a good excuse anyway. Although in the case of Hal I’m pretty sure he’s only had a handful of lines in all of his appearances.
I kind of forgot Jason Spisak voiced Razer in addition to Kid Flash, but seeing YJ incorporate him into this show is fantastic. Still disappointed the comics never incorporated Razer's character from GL The Animated Series.

I can't believe that the Green Lantern The Animated Series was actually a spinoff to Young Justice!!!! This is a continuation to season 2's cliffhanger.
It's not a spinoff. They're just retroactively making it part of the same universe. Which is super confusing because there is an argument to be made that GLTAS was a prequel series to the DCAU shows and young justice is not in the same continuity as the original DCAU.

razor was amusing saying that he felt like he had died & woke up in a place of torture. kilowag giving razor a scolding for no contact for 4 years. not to mention how depressed/angry razor was telling his story to kilowag.
Man, when I saw the title for this episode this was the last thing I thought of. Then I saw Kilowog and started going, "No, no, no NO! Don't tell me......" Then I saw the Blue Lantern, and I literally screamed, "RAZER! HOLY SHIT! THEY ACTUALLY WENT THERE!" And, as you imagined, my partner was looking at me like I was a madman.
A story continued from one concluded show to a completely different one a decade later. I was not expecting that. What happened to Aya again? I'm pretty sure she died.
Yeah she died after sacrificing herself against manhunters but Spoilers for the JLA. in the episode Barehanded, where hal takes an space cab which has navigational AI which also turns out to be aya albeit without memory of herself. The final scene is her departing and searching for someone (which is razor obviously)
It's shown that Aya is alive but she doesn't remember who she is, she just remembers she is supposed to be looking for someone. Guy who met her thought she was a gps..

Based on the timeline it took place in Season 2 of Young Justice. While the Red Lantern conflict took place in the time skip between Season 1 and 2 of Young Justice. The 1st episode of GL Animated series established Hal had spent most of his GL time close to Earth. Dealing with the Red Lanterns was his most extended time away from Earth.

Seeing razor in this legit made me cry. As a young teenager a watched greenlanter the animated series and fell in love with razor and I wish I got to know what happened to him. Now I am at peace.
I am so happy now! Razer was my favorite character in Green Lantern TAS because of his awkward sense of humor and it was nice to see a different color than green all the time (Green is my favorite color but I think it would've gotten boring to see Hal, Kilowog, and Aiya most of the time). And now that the creators brought him to YJ is the best thing they could've done in my opinion with his original voice actor!

Never thought i'd see Razer again after all this time since the Green Lantern animated series and after everything happened with Aya's corruption and demise, I always remembered how Razer's power on rage wasn't very relied since his anger was deminished and left alone carrying some hope in his mind while the Blue Lantern Ring of Hope appeared and flied directly to him. I saw the episode, I'm amazed that Razer has become more powerful than ever with the merging power of Rage and Hope together, Because Razer has experienced both Rage and Hope while also having some willpower qualities that he be able to wear the Green Lantern Ring of Will! If Razer keeps this up by experiencing Love, Fear, Avarice, Compassion, Life and Death, Razer could become one of the most powerful lanterns by carrying all the rings together! It's too far fetch but it's quite a development and a journey for Razer, Not just by experiencing and acquiring new powers, But to find Aya. I'm curious to know how exactly Aya would look in the series if Razer's story continues!
For years, I assumed that the GL animated series forgotten by Warner Bros, never to return to us. And now, its been given new life as having canonically happened within the universe of the current best DC cartoon out there. I cannot even begin to say how happy I am about this 😊
Kilowog and Razer's relationship went from "You got a problem, Poozer?! Yes I hate sloppy 7 foot tall pigs!" to "HAHAHA! It's great to see you, kid! I am dead and in the place of eternal torment."
That green lantern series was incredible. If you look close you could see the texture of clothes, the different grains on skin. And the constructs had so much variety, and they looked awesome with the green and black looking light
This was the first time I ever let out a shout of pure excitement when it came to a TV show. I was all like oh, a blue lantern....but nah, it was Ya Boy! Razor! Back at it again to find Aya and her robo cheeks!

The three we see now are from a different history, just as Bart is - if they return to the future to see if everything was fixed, the Time Stream will overlap their existence with their new versions, those accurate to the fixed timeline.

I’m so happy to see Razor again but also finally as a Blue Lantern, it both warms and breaks my heart to see him this way. To see him feeling hopeless after so many years of searching.

So my reaction to this was like this: “Oh cool Kilawog, is that his same VA from GLAS? Oh woah a blue lantern I really like them cool to see. Huh he kinda looks like Razer, HOLY SHIT ITS ACTUALLY RAZER!!! *excited and shocked squeals of delight*”
Seriously though it was such a pleasure to see him again, it brings a little bit of closure. I really wish Razer would show in the comics.
They even got the actor who voiced him in Green Lantern: The Animated Series. It’s great to hear his gloomy, serious voice on Razer again.
Razor and Kilowog coming back makes me so emotional, literally razor is my favorite character from GLTAS And just aAAAA HEARING HIS VOICE AGAIN AND JUST SEEING HIS PRETTY FACE
Words cannot begin to express how happy I got when I saw both Kilowag and Razer were in this arc of Young Justice. Even more so given that the voice actors from the Green Lantern Animated Series reprised their roles! Man I love this show even more than I already did!

I guess this confirms that Josh Keaton is indeed the voice for Hal Jordan in this series. Seriously, anytime Green Lantern has screen time in Young Justice, he's mute. I mean he did say No when Flash suggested Guy Gardner be recruited into the Justice League in season 1, but could anyone clearly hear Hal's voice over John Stewart deep Kevin Michael Richardson voice?

According to IMDB it was Dee Bradley Baker who has played Hal in previous appearances and while Josh Keaton is in Young Justice I don’t think there’d be any objections to him being Hal again and Grey Griffin who was Aya has played many characters in this series so I don’t think she’d object to being Aya again if they went that route.
@Animestar17 not wrong although I don’t know exactly why Beast Boy’s original voice actor from season 1 and 2 didn’t come back but the YJ crew could fall back on puberty if they felt they needed to explain why his voice changed or it’d be a good excuse anyway. Although in the case of Hal I’m pretty sure he’s only had a handful of lines in all of his appearances.

I kind of forgot Jason Spisak voiced Razer in addition to Kid Flash, but seeing YJ incorporate him into this show is fantastic. Still disappointed the comics never incorporated Razer's character from GL The Animated Series.

I can't believe that the Green Lantern The Animated Series was actually a spinoff to Young Justice!!!! This is a continuation to season 2's cliffhanger.
It's not a spinoff. They're just retroactively making it part of the same universe. Which is super confusing because there is an argument to be made that GLTAS was a prequel series to the DCAU shows and young justice is not in the same continuity as the original DCAU.

razor was amusing saying that he felt like he had died & woke up in a place of torture. kilowag giving razor a scolding for no contact for 4 years. not to mention how depressed/angry razor was telling his story to kilowag.
Man, when I saw the title for this episode this was the last thing I thought of. Then I saw Kilowog and started going, "No, no, no NO! Don't tell me......" Then I saw the Blue Lantern, and I literally screamed, "RAZER! HOLY SHIT! THEY ACTUALLY WENT THERE!" And, as you imagined, my partner was looking at me like I was a madman.

in the episode Barehanded, where hal takes an space cab which has navigational AI which also turns out to be aya albeit without memory of herself. The final scene is her departing and searching for someone (which is razor obviously)

It's shown that Aya is alive but she doesn't remember who she is, she just remembers she is supposed to be looking for someone. Guy who met her thought she was a gps..

When I saw the title, I joked that “this is it, Razer is gonna return!”
I wasn’t being serious….but I’m so unbelievably happy to see him again. When I though about it…with how old Hal is in this universe…yea, Gl the animated series would fit in this timeline, since the Anti-monitor incident was mostly out in wild space beyond where most GL’s travel
Based on the timeline it took place in Season 2 of Young Justice. While the Red Lantern conflict took place in the time skip between Season 1 and 2 of Young Justice. The 1st episode of GL Animated series established Hal had spent most of his GL time close to Earth. Dealing with the Red Lanterns was his most extended time away from Earth.

Seeing razor in this legit made me cry. As a young teenager a watched greenlanter the animated series and fell in love with razor and I wish I got to know what happened to him. Now I am at peace.

I am so happy now! Razer was my favorite character in Green Lantern TAS because of his awkward sense of humor and it was nice to see a different color than green all the time (Green is my favorite color but I think it would've gotten boring to see Hal, Kilowog, and Aiya most of the time). And now that the creators brought him to YJ is the best thing they could've done in my opinion with his original voice actor!

Never thought i'd see Razer again after all this time since the Green Lantern animated series and after everything happened with Aya's corruption and demise, I always remembered how Razer's power on rage wasn't very relied since his anger was deminished and left alone carrying some hope in his mind while the Blue Lantern Ring of Hope appeared and flied directly to him.
I saw the episode, I'm amazed that Razer has become more powerful than ever with the merging power of Rage and Hope together, Because Razer has experienced both Rage and Hope while also having some willpower qualities that he be able to wear the Green Lantern Ring of Will! If Razer keeps this up by experiencing Love, Fear, Avarice, Compassion, Life and Death, Razer could become one of the most powerful lanterns by carrying all the rings together! It's too far fetch but it's quite a development and a journey for Razer, Not just by experiencing and acquiring new powers, But to find Aya. I'm curious to know how exactly Aya would look in the series if Razer's story continues!
As a fan of the Green Lantern animated seiries, I always wandered where Razer went after it ended, I'm happy to see the continuation of his story

For years, I assumed that the GL animated series forgotten by Warner Bros, never to return to us. And now, its been given new life as having canonically happened within the universe of the current best DC cartoon out there. I cannot even begin to say how happy I am about this 😊

That green lantern series was incredible. If you look close you could see the texture of clothes, the different grains on skin. And the constructs had so much variety, and they looked awesome with the green and black looking light
