Yaaaaaay you're back sewing ! Your latest creation will be great when we (eventually) get our summer starting. Its just round the corner.......... Thanks for sharing, Sophie.
In engineering and construction (and general science) we use the metric system in the UK. At least in all the companies I have worked for. For all else, it seems to be miles, feet and inches still - as people are slow to change. Personally I never use imperial though.
@@DJ_Dopamine slow to change? lol We've used both for a long time. Engineering and science use metric for mathematical simplicity now, but thats only because most people poorly (state) educated people have issues thinking outside base ten.
@@DJ_Dopamine btw: the UK isn't a place, it's an LLC, a Limited liability Company/Corporation. You can't live in it. The land is called Great Britain, hence the people being the British - named after Brutus on his arrival after the fall of Troy. A lot of nationals always get that wrong., oneof the reasons they get screwed by the 'government' - the company of board members acting on behalf of the private Crown Corporation. (corona corp)
She's back 😁
Ideal for keeping cool down on Margate beach when the sun finally comes back. Keep up the good work.

I thought you'd sacked this channel ... Glad to see you back for some Grand Theft Sewing :)
Do you use inches for the sake of us US viewers? Or is it still common to use inches for fabric in the UK?
Us British use both equally.
@@TheFissionchips thank you
