Some people are having issues with not finding the AppkeyDefinition app - check the video from 4:57 onwards about where you might have to "activate" it...
....BUT...

IF that doesn't work...
look for either app (AppKeyDefinition OR FactoryBoxTest) in settings->apps->Show all Apps->Show system apps
1) try to force stop, then
2) clear data AND then
3)uninstall updates, after which
4)reboot and *unplug the device and
5) restart the device and
6) look in favourites bar to add it OR in the Apps tab at top of home screen

Hi my mecool km2 plus has started resetting when watching IPTV every 10 mins or so, but not when watching apps I've side loaded, is a factory reset likely to fix this or is there another fix

I'd think a factory reset will possibly do it....BUT...
First, I'd clear cache and data on your IPTV app and reinstall it, just to make sure it's not the app causing the issue.

If you can access the boxfactorytest app as described from 4:57 onwards, you should be able to activate the AppKeyDefinition App and that should make it appear where I described earlier in the vid.
*IF* that doesn't work...

I can't share the app as, having wasted 2 hours & having tried 3 different app extractor apps, I either couldn't extract it or it wouldn't install correctly on other Android TV devices....
