thanks I have been looking for someone who replaced the screen talking about the pressure cracking problem, i’ve broken 2 screens trying to fix my psp lol, would placing the metal bracket on to the new screen be helpful? since after market ones don’t provide them
None other than Amazon! Sometimes there are sellers that sell authentic screens from other PSPs but the one I went with was aftermarket that has a brighter backlight
Are you able to provide a link to the screen you got as it seems like the seller is good , I've bought screens before and is hard to find a good quality aftermarket screen . Please and thanks
Unfortunately the one I purchased is no longer available. It is labelled as OEM style screen, it is basically built exactly like original screens without any aftermarket changes
No ghosting at all, it’s a lot smoother than the original screen. Only difference I’ve been able to notice is is that the replacement screen is capable of a much higher brightness (it will probably impact battery life if you have it on full brightness but not by much)
I also have 2 white line (side of the screen) on my psp 3001 but it doesn't turn on, could it possibly like something has loosen in the insides of my lcd screen (sorry for bad English and grammar)
@@pain8178 does the PSP itself turn on at all? If there are no lights when you power the console on there may be an issue with the battery itself. If you’re still using the original battery I suggest disposing of it because it has probably degraded too much to be useable
Unfortunately it’s no longer available, Amazon sellers have replacements but it’s hit or miss with them. Your best chance at one is an OEM part from eBay
Never seen a psp that clean damn :0
Right? Must’ve been from a previous collector
Thanks for the tutorial
I'm from dominican and I am looking to buy a PSP 3000 for 16.55 dollars but it's broken on the screen and port charging. I like you video, thank you.

It will help, yes. Just be super careful with aftermarket screens as they are just as delicate
Nice video, where did you buy the screen?

@@stevenrama thanks for the quick reply man. I've subscribed for more
Is the replacement screen better than the original? Does it have the ghosting, scan lines issues as well?

how to joint the cutted strip of psp display
That is a pretty looking good psp 3000 though mine was kind of in a beaten up shape
definitely got lucky when buying it online. Quite hard to get a good condition PSP these days without paying a premium price

You may have a broken or dead LCD transistor, this cannot be fixed unfortunately :(
@@stevenrama but can they be fixed when you change the lcd screen? I really want to play my old psp

@@stevenrama ye it still open just the power but the screen is all black with like white lines on the sides of it (left and right)
Yeah the LCD bracket is the BS part about that it cause my lcd screen to be broken
if installed incorrectly it can absolutely demolish your new screen
Well I'm a barbaric person back then I got impatient so it was partly my fault 😅
