@Freefly SystemsHow do we map the "Roll" function on the controller to the ZOOM wheel on the Movi Controler (Firmware v4.0.1) (Main -> TX Config -> Zoom -> Dosen't show roll as an option
360 degree roll looks great, but has simple speed/rate control been added to the roll axis in non-360 mode for duel op mode? There is no clarification in any of the videos about this.
Not yet, but we will add in the future
Damn too bad. It's a deal breaker for any serious drone company with good camera ops. The inability to correct for roll drift mid shot (speed mode required to be able to do this) has the two Movi Pros we bought a couple months ago sitting on a shelf. Also Tabb, another very important bug?/feature that need to be fixed is when the Movi looses signal in duel op mode, the Movi needs to stay in it's current mode (not default back to majestic mode). This has ruined so many shots for us when signal is lost for 1 sec and the camera recenters. If the gimbal stays in "free/lock" mode there is a good chance the shot can be salvaged, or you may not even know you lost signal! Thanks!
Chris Bacik hey just read this again, you have always been able to control roll rate on the MōVI, now you can just do 360 control
At least in V1.5 that I am using, in duel op mode the user does not have 'rate/speed' roll control (like on the pan and tilt axis). The only roll control is via the mapped "roll trim" channel which is 'angle' roll control, which you can't really use mid shot to correct for drift. In the perfect world like most other gimbals, the user would a) have speed/rate roll control b) control the max roll speed and expo with a slider in the app. Unlike the pan and tilt axis I don't think a separate channel for max roll speed should be assigned like on the pan and tilt axis.
@@skyeyemediainc have you ever found out how to get rate controll of roll with the movi pro? there seems to be some kind of mystery around this topic. i just can't figure it out :)
Can you explain how to do time lapse in MōVI pro app
M5 is the same now?
