I had a Lhasa Apso and I so love that breed. They're very similar to Shih Tzu but a little bigger and with a longer face.
I now am going into my senior years with my 2 favorite breeds. Golden retriever and a yorkshire terrier.
My favorite breed is shih Tzu. I have one that looks a lot like Snickers. She's a little lighter in color. Her name is Tawny. She just turned 10 years old! She's just as cute as ever!
My favorite dog is the maltese. My dog who passed at age 8 of cancer was the sweetest and loveable dog. If I was able to take care of another dog now, it would again be a maltese. 😢
Yorkshire terrier. I have a miniature and she's the best. Little, doesn't she'd and has all kinds of sassy attitude
Boston Terrier. I use to breed and raise Boston's. They have the sweetest disposition.❤ But I love all dog's. I'm a dog lover not to big on cat's though.

When I was little my mom had German Shepherd mixed with a Collie he's name KC the best dog in the world and very smart I miss him ..
I think a German Shepard. My grand dog is a German Shepard mix with Rotty. He's a service dog and he loves his Grandma. Unfortunately he lives across the country now but we do Facetime. Lol. My second choice would be a Doberman. When my sons were little, my Doberman was the perfect mommy's assistant. I was never worried about them playing outside.

Pekingese! I have had five of them, and I can't imagine any other breed. My current Peke is 13 years old. I have never brought them to a groomer as I've trained to maintain their coats.

If I could have any breed of Dog it would be a Newfoundland.I’m 76 so it would be impossible for me both financially and physically. But they are so sweet
