  • What connection may school meals make to Newton's law? Can Physics affect a child's way of thinking? How easy is it to defend your ideals and values in a culture where discrimination and bullying are commonplace? Efthimis Kalfas (journalist and radio producer), who realized at a young age that each person's power rests in their distinctiveness and creativity, can actually provide answers to all of these issues. His primary belief is that you can only fully achieve your goals if you embrace and value who you really are. Journalist/ Radio Producer
    Efthimis, grew up in Thessaloniki.
He graduated from the department of Social Administration in Komotini, in the direction of Social Policy and in 2009, he completed his postgraduate in the Journalist and Media department of the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki , in the direction of Journalism and New Media.
Since 2016, you wake up with him through the morning show on the foreign radios of Thessaloniki and today you listen to him through Zoo Radio 90.8, while at the same time he writes articles, comments on the news and comments on everything around him through the articles he writes about the biggest magazines and portals of the country. His last creation is "Na sou kano to trapezi”, a podcast that, in every episode, he discusses with his guests around a table full with delicious food. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
