I could be wrong, but I feel this song is about the journey to where they are at that time. Bang Chan wrote the song. He was a trainee for 7 years. When you hear him talk about it, he watched friends and fellow trainees come and go, and never knew if he would be ask to leave next. This song premiered at the end of the survival show, Felix and LeeKnow were cut, then asked back. It was heartbreaking.

@@mireiaposias You didn’t have to be so aggressive about it, people can be confused, besides, not every detail was recorded and we know for a fact that Bang Chan is involved in everything. Especially during the survival show. He definitely had to proofread the lyrics, so by technicality he was involved in writing even if only a little.

People don't like to talk about Woojin much because he's better left in the past. He did not leave on the best terms. He basically abandoned the group right before a comeback and right before they were supposed to go on tour, which meant that they had to postpone it by a month in order to re-record and re-choreograph everything to fit eight members, and if you see clips from their first concerts after he left, the rest of the boys were absolutely devastated, literally crying on stage and begging fans not to leave them.
Bang Chan issued a formal apology to the fans for "not being able as a leader to keep the team together" and he also apologized in a livestream, and you could tell he was absolutely heartbroken.
Just the other day Woojin released a video where he apologized for leaving (years later!) by saying he was young and selfish - as if he wasn't literally the oldest of the group, even older than Chan.
He doesn't deserve anything, and even this comment I'm writing is giving him more attention than he deserves.

Sure why not, this is how I got into SKZ. I was into GOT7 another group at JYP and my bias BamBam was on one of the episodes of their debut reality show, Stray Kids. They were performing out on the street with people from JYP judging them.
What I saw in that one show intrigued me and I only noticed Felix because he made a mistake and I felt was judged really harshly for it, but the way that his team supported him really made me start to love them. Then Hellevator came out and I liked it. It stuck in my head, then a few more songs came out and they stayed on my playlist but they weren't in my top 5 groups or anything.
Then I saw/heard Victory Song and that was it. Felix STARTS that song in his deepest tones. When you listen to that song in a car, the sound travels like a wave from the back of the car to the front. I listened so many times to Victory Song on Spotify that it was definitely in my top five played. And that was it, I was hooked. Felix reeled me in, Han's lyrics (especially his B-Sides kept me coming back), and then Hyunjin got canceled and went on "hiatus".
I was furious. I almost stopped following SKZ cuz I was so mad at JYP (also the whole GOT7 messy divorce was happening) but I wanted to support the group even though JYP was flat WRONG for taking Hyunjin out like that. Every day posting on the app formerly known as Twitter for Hyunjin to come back and then he did with his self-choreographed F You to all the haters, Play With Fire, "Oh you thought I was gone, nope I'm taking over now." And I was all in. Hyunjin locked the door and threw away the key. STAY FOR LIFE.
PS. Woojin and his mysterious withdrawal from the group is not discussed much. I personally never liked him, he always seemed a bit removed from the group and like he had an arrogance that just rubbed me the wrong way. And if Bang Chan, the kindest human, doesn't like him then neither do I. They certainly seemed to thrive without him being there.

actually, stray kids and woojin had a fight when woojin decided to left stray kids back in 2019. bangchan said something like “ we are team, we are family, but now you betray us, and we all have to face the consequences for your actions “ refer to the woojin scandal. because of woojin, bangchan received a lot of hate comments. bangchan tell him to stay with them and tell him to made an apology but he didnt. when woojin left, bangchan decided to rerecord their album with 8 members version. Bangchan really wanted to vanish woojin name from stray kids. and now its been 5 years, none of the stray kids members get along with woojin anymore.

So even though it was pre-debut I consider it as a debut in my head because of the fact that it was the first time we were seeing them perform anything in a music video, first music video we ever got from them. I noticed it 15 days after it was released and since I was already into k-pop I already knew to expect many things in one video, so I listened to the mood first while watching the video and it gave me a sense about what they could be talking about then I went back and read the lyrics and I was very very impressed. Changbin stood out to me the most with this song so I was like I wonder if he's gonna be my bias, but then a little time passed and I sort of forgot about them a bit, all up until they released their next music video after Hellevator, their song Grrr and I was just impressed right away I didn't have to question it anymore, I was hooked, so I read the comments and I saw some people were talking about their reality show, so I went and I watched it and I've just been a Stay ever since then. I remember crying when I saw Minho was eliminated because he had definitely grown on me a lot and he was actually one of my other biases. I cried so hard man, and then Felix got eliminated and he was one of my favorites too oh man, not to mention seeing their reactions, and CHris' reaction...instant heart break moment. I cried literal tears of joy when I saw them being brought back on that last episode. UUUh so freaking powerful, meaningful and emotional moment. Where would stray kids be now without them? They'd still be Stray Kids but like, Minho and Felix just add their own extra flavors. Idk for me it was intense. I don't think I reacted the same way as everyone else did with Felix. It was such A LONG time ago that it's just normal for me. xD Nah, I guess I was just used to kpop having guys that have baby faces but super low voices I was still super impressed by Felix's voice because his face and voice are like the youngest face with the deepest voice in kpop that I have ever heard, but I wasn't reacting like how everyone else reacts everytime. Don't get me wrong I still thought it was super freaking cool and that he was awesome, still managed to bias wreck me for sure. xD Especially with the insane amount of plush toys that he owns. xD which was why my heart broke so badly when he was eliminated, because he's like the purest most innocent face and soul that I've ever seen and to see him like that...just no. Why would you do that to him man, I wanted to protect him so badly, I was angry at the world. But then he was brought back and everything was great again. xD Then they debuted with like the most perfect song EVER! At the time. I even got the albums right away, both pre-debut and debut albums, and every time after that they'd have a comeback and I would even pre-order the album because it's like I just straight up already knew that all the songs in the album would be freaking amazing. After seeing how far they've grown ever since I'm extremely proud of them and what they've accomplished and I only hope our fandom continues to grow bigger and bigger everyday. I don't have a problem sharing our boys with everyone as long as people are respectful and nice and supportive. If people are like that then I say, "Welcome" with huge open arms and, "I hope you're here to Stay". :) As a pre-debut Stay I would suggest re-watching every video they have in order from when it was released because basically everything they've released is connected to the next thing. Everything is like this continuous sequence. Even if they said that their sequence ends right before God's Menu, it's like everything afterwards is still somehow tied in back with the story line, they legit have some Avengers or X-Men shit going on. xD I'm sure a very lovely Stay out there can help you piece together everything in order, you want to read the lyrics as well, there are some fluent Korean speakers that can break down the lyrics because there are definitely A LOT of play with specific words and phrases and sentences with just about every song that they have released. Then you also want to check out theories about what story they could be telling with their music videos. I recommend the RUclips channel called Bookish Theories. Probably one of the best theories out there. Good Luck man, cuz there's a lot of content if you really want to get into them. xD You'll be as old as Dumbledore by the time you catch up. xD (Harry Potter reference).

There is a whole huge multiverse of Stray kids. Almost all of their clips (especially titles) are combined into one story. All it started with "Hellevator (it’s their 1st song before even debuting, you can see how they made it threw the survival show “Stray kids”). The whole story is about them trying to find their place and themselves. Also that's why they are called STRAY KIDS.
The Hellevator is the first mv where we can see their alter universe and the inverted city. Their first album “I Am Not” tells us the story from the beginning. The debut song "District 9" (this song is SICK) shows their escape from the programmed society. All "I AM" series (3 albums) tell us about the identity crisis. Like everyone says that people are born unique and individual but society forces everyone to adjust to the standards, and those who different immediately become superfluous. The first album “I am not” is about the fact that they understand that they are not like everyone else, that’s their protest to the who;e world. In “I Am Who” they try to figure out who they really are and what should they do as they don't fit into the framework. In the final album of the series “I am you” they realize that they cannot find the answer to their question, so they turn to others and find themselves in them, in their like-minded people, who are also different.
So all together they are trying to find their place out from the laboratory from District 9 but they got into the maze and they see that outside it’s all the same. Crowd still remains led, people go where they told to (this is exactly what "Miroh" is about), they want to get away from it. “miroh” mv is the title for the first album for a Cle series ("cle" is French for "key", if you continue to watch their clips, you will notice a lot of images of keys in this series as they are trying to find the escape).
They got out from the miroh and choose to go for road no taken (also their song from Cle 2 with "Side effects" mv) they go to parallel world (you will see two moons in some mv that's the big thing in skzverse). They are fixated on finding the key to open the lock (and make two moons unite), until at the very end they realize that this idea trapped them.
The answer is not the key, it' themselves ("Levanter" the last mv of cle series is about it. And that's the most calm and sad title of all, it breaks my heart). So, only when they gave up the idea of searching for an answer, they find their real selves (And that's when "Go live" series starts with the "God's menu" as the title) but they already messed the universe and the confusion with parallel worlds continues. You can see it in Noesey album (Thanderous) and especially in Maniac (where the inverted world appears again).
Megaverse mv shows how messed up all gone. The rest of the albums continue to develop the metaverse as well as brain-blowing stay. In general, this whole story is very interesting and confusing, there are many theories among Stays, if you dive into it, the brain really boils but I'm sure you would like it. Hope I got you at list a little bit interested to start looking at their earliest works in order to build a complete picture for yourself!

I see hellevator and yes i see the preview from TxT and can´t wait for monday wehn the album will be release,
but hellevator is a very good.
Its not the debut song, its the pre-debut song and was produced in the survival show. Inside the survival show minho and than felix are eliminated, but they come back and now are a part of the group thanks god.
They are really young there, i think in this felix and han must be 15 because theire birthday is in september one day apart.
Hellevator describe the journey. That you have to work from the hell to the heaven. That you have to fight to be one top. That the way is hard and sometimes you have the feeling to break because of the pressure. The way to be the best is never easy. The message of this song is very deep.
The survival show is a fucking rollercoaster and i always cry when i see felix and minhos elimination.
    So yeah.
That is what i can say.
See you, i watch now the preview from TxT for the i think 6th time XD
Make stray kids stay and see you in the next reaction.

This was also the song where Felix became one of my biases in this group I just fell in love with his deep voice and rapping style.
The MV is amazing and so are the lyrics as you can clearly feel the emotio they put into them.
Also this song was their pre debut song and it was BangChan that came up and produced the beat to this song and its amazing for a pre debut song

Although EVeRYoNe who reacts to Straykids are shocked by Felix's voice, when I watched them for the first time I wasn't.
Because I had heard a waaay deeper one I guess I didn't see it as something special.
Felix's voice and range are still crazy tho don't get me wrong.
(The voice I mean is from a gamer called corpsehusband its unreal deep)
Btw at the mention of Felix's range, "Deep end" is his solo.
Just saying maybe you could react to it.
