That's a very good comparison. So effectively the difference with LoD is that JttO is card driven events you are resolving from location to location and sometimes read a story like in LoD. Then JttO is more like Blood Sword. It's a very cheap adventure book that looks like a FF game but is more involved and more modern. I can recommend it. What keeps me from buying JttO is the upfront complexity and accountancy of daily things, and LoD has done that stuff expertly with their Oracle system (and ticking off say 4 check boxes for the morning, 6 for the afternoon etc depending on the adventure book you're in). I don't see those check boxes in JttO.
@@solowargamer well if the JitO creator would streamline the game so we can use a checkbox grid plus time markers like LoD it would be more easy to get into. In its current form it feels way too messy.
I've been slowly going through all of your videos, I am finding them really great so far! For the "five games like..." series, what music did you use for these?
Really enjoy hearing more information about JtO, want to play it even more now! This is a really good way to convey some good information.
Love your explanation of the game and how it compares to similar games.
Everything was well said and structured
Looking forward to the Dungeon Degenerates comparison.
Been looking forward to another one of these!

I loved Dragonholt and I'm looking forward to JtO now. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts about how JtO compares to Runebound.

@@solowargamer wicked!! Is the music available for purchase or as part of the kickstarter or something?
