It's a Question thats been asked since the Beginning of Crypto Mining.
Today I hope to help you decide, if Mining at a "Dollar-Loss" is right for you.
Love it! 🙌 Just like you say, if you need to sell your mined coins to cover electricity, using mining as a source of passive income then it’s not for you. But if you are just building bags for long term gains, then you might as well be mining at a slight loss from time to time instead of trying to time the market

@@_HashForce you deserve compliments when you bring the heat ! Just don't force yourself to come up with content, too many RUclipsrs post just to post and then the content just sucks, or its just an over glorified advertisement, or LittleMan Syndrome playing off FOMO. If you keep your content REAL, unfiltered, objective, real world perspective "keep your head out of the sand guys", you will be the most successful guy on RUclips. Too many of us get distracted with life, caught up in the moment, FOMO, and honestly fear of how to I not lose focus of the desired end result by all these distractions, it takes someone REAL like your content to not lose the mindset needed to stay progressive but yet survive.

This video gives a good rational to keep mining. I bought some coins while my rigs were offline with money I would have spent on electricity, but that wasn't as fun as doing the mining. I realized that the coins I am mining will eventually be higher than the electric losses anyways and there is something about doing my part mining for a token that I enjoy. It isn't just about the money for me, I like the projects I mine for. And the electric loss is cheaper than my personal time dedicated to writing code (I'm not the best coder) for the projects.
Yes, yes absolutly agree with all that. Its bery hard to time market too. eventually some “dollar” profitable mining and non-profitable mining will even out, but you will have much more coin if you continue mining the whole time. it will lead to many extra coins at a later time. thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@_HashForce I agree! But be smart and ensure you do sell enough when the price feels right to ensure you have future electricity covered 😉 We know how quickly prices can change and it would suck to regret not selling enough when you should have for hopes of even more by waiting.

Thank you! Its been many years, but I went to Art Institute of Seattle for Design & 3D Animation. We learn a little of everything including video editing. In general I have a big passion for learning & if I decide I want to do a project, I try to do the best I can. So before starting my YT channel last month I try to learn some things 1st. What I mostly learn is RUclips is a serious job! haha Harder than ppl think 😅👍🏼

I am no buffet, but my strategy is to sell my coins at the previous bull market's high if the coin I mined goes back up that high. I don't want to be that guy who is constantly trying to find the peak price and do analysis day and night. I believe a lot of people think they can time the market and then end up losing. I want to set a realistic profit margin I want to make, and once I hit that coin price I will sell no matter what. I would like to get some input on my strategy if anyone sees a flaw in it.
This is my first bear period and I am glad I sold my ETH when I did (wasn't top but close enough) as it allows me to mine at a loss now building my bags. So, my focus the next bull period is to sell tokens near last highs to build a 2 year electricity buffer and incrementally sell as it goes higher to build a pool of USD/BTC to buy mining stuff in the bear market. As long as I have the electricity covered, I feel comfortable. And, never forget the taxman
sound like a solid strategy to me! Youre right, many people try to time the market to get maximum profit, but what they ate actually doing is taking maximum risk with that strategy. If i would add to your strategy, I would say never buy or sell everything all at once. so once the last all time high comes, maybe sell a little but then, make sure you get all your initial investment back plus more, and at least keep a small something in case crypto moon shots and you’ll have some to sell super high
@@_HashForce Yes maybe only sell an amount that covers the cost of my equipment and maybe some electricity cost. I am trying to build a strategy where I don't rely on my emotions and get caught up in some sort of gambling effect. I believe that I should set a limit on how much money I want to make on my investment based on past data. Maybe 10, 20 or 35 percent and start to slowly sell so that I don't get caught up in trying to catch the highs of the market. I know I am no genius and trying to predict market highs and lows will only work against me. Its my belief that all markets are manipulated by big players and there is no point for me to go against them, so I just like to have a small piece of the pie rather then nothing at all.
