    Sadie definitely strikes me as an ISFJ type, with her FE and TI being especially obvious. She cares about how others around her feel, with her primary focus on people. She also analyses everything so that it makes sense to her. Finally, she places importance on past experiences, indicating a strong SI.

    Could you analyze Finn Wolfhards personality? I've seen many people debate that he's either ENTP or INTP due to his social anxiety and many other things, I'd like to get to know his personality so i would get to know more about him as a person, I hope you come across this comment!

      I think Finn is an extrovert, we just find him in situations he’s not as comfortable in so it doesn’t show as much

    • @evka8D
      @evka8D Год назад +1

      I've just watched an interview of him and I would say he's an INTP. Personal clarity is very important for him. He gives detailed factual reasons to explain his preferences/decisions - indication of high Ti. It's also obvious when he talks about his past experiences. It's very specific and personal, he adds factual details often (we could stay at most 30 miles from the cliff) or even returns to clarify information (no cow was killed, well one was killed, maybe). That's strong Ti working with Si. He also really seem to enjoy answering hypothetical questions and elaborate on what if scenarios. It doesn't seem like looking for new possibilities is something he does all the time but he still seems to enjoy it a lot - aux Ne. And finally you can also spot his inferior Fe. He is hyperaware of social norms and expectations but it's not his priority to meet them all the time. Like you can see him jiggling between providing more clarity and meeting social expectations - stopping in middle of an answer, unfinished sentences, giving details then cutting it short whrn he realizes it's maybe too long. For example when he was asked about performance of his co-stars he started by giving clear factual opinion I like this I like this too and then he be like wait I should say I like everyone, right? (social expectations kick-in) It's actually rather adorable. He also has this general "in his head - not fully physically present" vibe typical for Se PolR, so yeah I might be wrong but this is what makes the most sense to me based what I've seen and analyzed ;)

      INFPs can be seriously amazing at referencing the past to create new connections between ideas. The ability to bounce back and forth between auxiliary Ne and tertiary Si constantly is a trait I'm kinda jealous of as an INTJ who can't always explain how I arrived at an idea. ISTJs and ISFJs who have Si as their dominant function are great to learn from!

      INFJ’s feel a lot more comfort and grounding from speculating and imagining far ahead or focusing on abstract patterns that are harder to verbalize and spell out than ISFJ’s. @burdenedwithgloriouspurpos851 Год назад +1

      @@justme4579 I think they both have an extent of daydreaming but the main difference would be INFJ’s would be more abstract and detached from the current reality whereas the Isfj would daydream about something that would affect their reality. Like an Isfj might enjoy daydreaming about a future house, or about humor involved in the way objects and creatures interact with each other, and enjoy less what an infj might daydream about like philosophical ideas or self/other analytical type thoughts.
      Yeah so the topic of daydreaming is definitely different at the core but for sure an Isfj could stay focused better at a repetitive task or staying more in touch with their current reality since they are sensors and interacting with reality is something they highly enjoy. (Makes sense since Si involves enjoyment in the repetition/mastery of a task/skill. They enjoy having routines.)
      Infjs differ in their need to have mental stimulation from ideas beyond the current reality.

    Great to see this video pop up after realizing that Emma Watson is most likely not an ISFJ! I can see how Taylor would admire how balanced Sadie's outward group focus (Fe) and inner personal philosophy (Ti) are since they're a huge source of stress for her as an ESFJ. Hope that researching this video helped give you some clarity on the order of Emma's cognitive functions, too! I'm still racking my brain on that after the analysis replay, haha

      Emma is definitely a Te-Fi, Si-Ne user. Personally I'm torn whether she's an INFP or ESTJ. I definitely think she's e1 though.

    • @brianfoss571
      @brianfoss571 Год назад +1

      @@lbell9695 Right on the functions. I'd say INFP - she's too strong of an Fi user to be ESTJ. She doesn't really gravitate toward task and process-related topics in interviews, and she's not highly concerned with efficiency. There's an argument to be made for ENFP, but I don't think Ne is her dom function. Either way, all four of her functions are pretty well-developed, so if she is an INFP, her Te is much stronger than Timothée Chalamet's.

    • @lbell9695
      @lbell9695 Год назад +1

      @@brianfoss571 I agree. I think regardless of whether she's an ESTJ or INFP, the e1 would explain the "strong" Fi for ESTJ or the "strong" Te for an INFP. But personally I'm leaning more towards INFP. Tertiary Si makes sense - as you aptly mentioned, she's not really focused on the procedural aspects, more so on the overarching idea. But at the same time, I definitely see her valuing Si in terms of aspects like security and stability, which would make sense in child Si of INFPs. She could be a 6w7 as well too, which is why it seems her functions are pretty developed - Si/Te in 6 core and Fi/Ne in w7.

      @@lbell9695 I'm not as familiar with Enneagram as MBTI, but I don't quite see Emma as a One. She's not really a detached, rigidly logical analyst like Hermione, although I can see a case for 9w1 (the "Dreamer"), which isn't uncommon for INFPs or ISTJs. Seems to me that Emma comes across as a J personality because she's the daughter of two lawyers who grew up assuming a role that was very methodically characterized over several thousand pages in 7 books. And yet, when Alfonso Cuaron asked her, Rupert, and Dan to write an essay on their characters, she managed to turn out 15 pages. So she probably used a lot of Ne & Fi at a young age instead of relying more on Si & Te.
      She's open to doing lots of different artistic things - be a "renaissance woman" - but when she speaks, it's clear she's extremely conscious of how her words will read when quoted in an article or book. She's using Te to restrict her Fi, but it comes across as halting, with forced emphasis on certain words. And that suggests it's actually a weaker, clumsier function for her that's associated with some stress. She doesn't switch between Fi and matter-of-fact, detached Te as easily as ENFPs like JLaw, Tom Holland, or Louis Tomlinson. She's a perfectionist, but probably because she's had to work harder at developing Te than by using it by default as a dom or aux function. I'm not ruling ENFP out, but I get the impression from her interviews she plays between Ne & Si to inform her Fi, rather than constantly generating Ne and bouncing between playing out the feelings it generates and acting on those ideas without overthinking. Emma can overthink a lot (see her script notes for "Perks" on being an American high schooler), so it seems more likely she's the kind of INFP who's more composed and methodical because she had to develop inferior Te growing up.

    I have a question. When I’m in a situation I try to enjoy and soak it up as much as possible; so that in the future I can look back at it as a good memory. So I’m doing things and making memories so that I can remember them fondly. What personality trait would you call this? And is it a good one to have?

    • @EricWen
      @EricWen  Год назад +2

      That’s a personality pattern that pops up most commonly with SJ and NP personality types and is called Introverted Sensing! Watch my video on Taylor Swift (the second part) to see if you relate to how she uses that superpower! It is a special and unique way of looking at things yes!
