Chika would be breaking that drum set she hits it so hard. The ladies have absolutely killed it on their Europe and US tours. Back to Japan and then Australasia next. Harajukucore is taking over the world.
The Internet brings us new adventures and rabbit holes each day. Did not expect to see four Japanese girls ripping shit up at a U.S. music festival on my feed. That Bassist has great presence.
glad to see a few Japanese bands starting to come into the limelight of the metal genre the talent pool is insane amongst the Japanese bands, I myself will be seeing Lovebites next year at Progpower USA in Atlanta! I have to wonder if we aren't seeing the start of "The New Wave Of Japanese Metal".
True or not, I heard they have 90 min to play, which you can consider it to be a full show!!! True or not, I heard their stage is rather small so maybe you should attend early. Have fun bro!!!
...well in the history of metal there was a "New Wave Of British Metal" in the 80s, then the mid 90s saw "The New Wave Of European Metal" then the mid 2000s saw "The New Wave Of American Metal" ...so is it now Japan's turn?
@@jeffriellyJapan have many awesome metal band. Hanabie is a newborn, the have influence from Maximum The Hormone. You need to listen maximum the hormone
@@muhammadyusufshalahuddin7548 I have 2 things in response: first - "the new wave of (origin here) metal" is a phrase that has been used all thruought the history of the genre when there has been a bit of an influx of bands from a certain part of the world gaining international prominence (such as "the new wave of brittish metal" in the early 80s, "The new wave of Eroupean metal" in the mid 90s, and "The New Wave Of American Metal" in the 90s) it DOES NOT mean that that there were no bands from said location prior to the phrase being used. Second- don't tell me what to do, I dont "NEED TO" do anything!
What an epic f*** summer!! First Band-Maid about a month at Lollapalooza. Then saw Babymetal in Vegas at the Palms with Dethklok which was f*** insane. Then Hanabie happened to hear about coming on my way home & saw them to as unreal. I also heard Lovebites at Aftershock next year. Which can only be a good sign moving foward!! 🤘🦊🔥🎸
Lovebites at Aftershock? Link please. Only US show for them that has been announced so far is ProgPower. It would be great if they are playing at Aftershock tho because it's 3 hours from me!
@@Mysterious_Grimpond I apologize as I might have misread that. I believe GAIJIN Guys might have had it in their thumbnail title. Where Aftershock was mentioned but it was referring to something else. So it was just a miscommunication here. Still not out of the realm of possibilities. Babymetal performed at this Year's Aftershock. So I can't imagine Lovebites just doing this festival. It won't get them much exposure. As Progpower is kinda down the list a bit & won't get them much exposure. Whoever their tour manager is needs to get with the program. They would do well on a US tour. Hope more announcements come forth going into 2024.
@@BlazinNSoul No worries man! Yeah that GG headline can be a bit misleading from a distance. Still hoping (praying) for a US tour and perhaps an Aftershock appearance! Rock on!
6:47 the studio version of this song is great but that drop when they play it live just rips. It's so fat I love it lol saw them May 31st at Ace of Spades and they were sick! I love them so much haha
Pretty amazing :) Even though I am amazed by the intensity, I think they should add a few slower tracks on their next album. It would allow them to rest up a bit during live performances.

This band needs a better and stronger clean vocalist, it would work better, because the girl with the scream does well, but I feel weak the clean vocal parts, so the contrast doesn't work so well like in other bands, who use this combination. Their stage presence is also great, but the building up of their songs also missing some skill in my opinion, but the potential is there in them. For me they are still just one song band unfortunately.
4 day, 90 bands, and the most brutal growls of the festival come from a 4'9" Japanese lady...gotta love Yukina!!
I love these girls so fucking much i cant even. This new wave of Japan metal led by women is incredible.
agreed
Their composer/producer is the drummer(Gaku) from Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake.

There's something very satisfying and wholesome about the way Chika beats the living hell out of those skins.
I WAS THERE AND IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME, EASILY ONE OF MY FAVORITE PERFORMANCES AND THE PIT WAS INSANE EASILY ONE OF THE 10 BIGGEST PITS OF THE DAY
Amazing performance to end the US tour. What a fucking great tour it was. Hope they don't stay away for too long!

Since this is a festival, I hope they got new fans.
