UPDATE: I finally got the computer power supply. My car amp and speakers was rattling like crazy. And the speakers were walking around lol. This guy is a legend, I am subscribing and liking!

Have a doubt, +12 volt and -12 volt to 24 volt.. can you please explain the technical side... and after getting 24 volt how the higher rating of +12 volt 15amp and -12 volt .3 a goes to 2A.
There is 3Amps diodes used on -12V side so , 2 amps can be taken
is it possible to take 14.4v with this psu, which wires combine needs? or what else need additional....?
Not possible, it's ,12v only ,

which one is logical;
1. to use fuse before 220V power switch
2. to use fuses before each outputs (3.3, 5, 12v etc)

I have a DC pump that I use for pumping oil. do you think I could use a computer power supply to run it? I figured since it hooks up to my 12v battery that it might work with the 12v power supply. it uses 13.5 amp. I have an old AT power supply that I want to try. it has an external on/off switch with a white, blue, brown and of course black for ground. wire harness has Black (ground), Yellow (12V), Red (5V), Orange (Power Good), Blue (-12V) and White (-5V) I believe. does this sound correct? do I need to put in resistors for an AT power supply? ty for your assistance. 🙂
You can try but what Amp rating is your PSU at 12v

So only blue wire + yellow wire can output high power(20~4V) , right?
No You are wrong only Yellow (12V) wire can give as much as 25A or 30A but Blue (-12) can give 1A but if You take one Yellow and one blue You can draw more then 3A Good one 4A

You don’t connect the yellow and blue together…connect the yellow (positive) and connect the blue as a ground (negative). That will get you 24v

Hi, can i use a power suply for a Project with arduino mega, for exemple:
I want to power al sensor that need 5v from 1 ( 2 Dallas 18b20 sensors, 2 SSR relay, 2 Leds, 1x4 Matrix Buttons, 1 Lcd), without damaging sensors or arduino itself for power them up.

I try to use 12 volt to run 775 motor. But it potential ( tongue) only look like around 6 to 10 ampere although it showed 24Ampere

@@Electronic_For_You Strange the psu says that can give till 15a at 12 volt. I guess this is not constant. I run a dc motor with such a psu at 2 amper constant current and i am happy with this. When the motor stahl and takes much current the psu shut downs. After 20 minutes starts again.

@@lavague7648 if you want to run the motor with no load... use a starting capacitor. But if it takes 2A without load, then when you loaded , will take much more. According to the load, it can reach 40A or 50A depending on the motor and the load. if you want to use for fan is ok use capacitor and run, but for example for cordless drill☝️40A or 50A
