Very impressive ride. Pouring rain and no rain gear. Clearly a Yorkshire hard man 😄. I've struggled to drive up Hardnott in the past, never mind cycle it. If you stop on there for a car you'll never get started again. I'm only just getting back into cycling in my 60's and can only wonder at routes like this.
What a v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶n̶i̶c̶e̶ ride that was. Well, the route was nice anyway. I have not yet commited to riding in actual rain yet. If I get sprinkled on a bit I'm good, but not ready for full-on showers. However, I might be tempted to trade your warm rainy weather for the 100F+ with 15% humidity conditions here in Boise.
🤣 Thanks for watching. I don't go out in heavy rain generally, but I only had that day so made the most of it. It made the post ride beverage all the more rewarding!
Shame about the GoPro battery, are you using the 'Enduro' batteries with a white top? IME they last 2-3 X longer than the original blue-tops. Some great climbs on this circuit and you returned via the Ennerdale Bridge to Calder Bridge route I mentioned on your previous video. Nice.
My battery is the blue top one. It gives up the ghost in the cold, then you plug it in at home and it has 60% in it! I'll try an Enduro one for the coming winter, thanks. Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm enjoying your channels, great humour.

I don't mind wet, it's cold that I don't like. Yorkshire pudding more like 🤣. Thanks for watching. Good luck with your cycling.
Love it! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching 👍
Super effort Simon..I was hunkering down in my lounge watching you getting soaked time after time. Double Kudos today! 👏👏👍
Thanks, it was a bit wet!
@@Cyclingpsyman Understatement of the year! 🤣
Fair play for getting out there in that weather. I just cannot face setting out if i know it will rain.
Thanks, I was quite stoic about getting the ride done regardless. Besides, I'm getting used to being soaked 🙃

@@Cyclingpsyman Here's to post-ride beverages. 😁🍻
Fantastic route, shame about the weather 😊
If you wait for the weather you'll wait a long time, as you know too well. Thanks 😊
