- Today is the 16th day past my ovulation (16 DPO) and I am 2 days late. I took a test this morning and it was positive, so I decided to take FIVE different home pregnancy tests to be sure. Let's see what they show.
As someone who has pcos and has been trying for YEARS I can totally understand the multiple different brands I am at the point of taking 3 tests each morning lol...but I think honestly the point of her taking so many tests is to prove the different brands that they all work and give same result. Also it doesn't matter how long you dip it into the urine as long as it is immersed in urine some packaging says only 3 seconds and others up to 30 seconds I usually do it until I see the dye move across...congrats to your positive results...praying I get the same soon!
I think it does matter how long you hold a test in urine as you can over- or under-saturate the test, affecting the display of the results. I may be wrong, but what harm is it to follow the instructions? :-)

When you read the instructions it says when using a cup to dip for 10-20 seconds but if you pee on it, its 5 seconds.
I didn't know that and dipped it for 5 seconds...

For anyone watching, you should NOT dip multiple tests into the same sample. It can cause false results.

Okay for all the people that's saying she put it for more than five seconds she did most instructions say leave it under your URINE FLOW for 5 seconds but if your using a CUP u put it under four 10-20 seconds if your gonna complain then gtf of the video

If you are jealous, try to be jealous quietly. Seriously not every country has expensive pregnancy tests. And I would have done the same as well since I would be extremely excited and would want to keep seeing two consistent lines and line progression. I had a chemical pregnancy 2 cycles ago and I was testing a hundred tests in one and a half week. Most of them are amazon cheapies but still. I had many negatives and a few bold positive tests. Think before you judge. TTC journey is full of pain, emotions, tests wasting and fails and successes and fail again and again. I would not care how much money I need for those tests as long as I can get those two lines. Also, if I ever succeed to get pregnant, I would do the same. Tests have expiration date and I wouldn't want them to expire so I would do many tests a day to just use them up if I have to.
If you can’t afford a pregnancy test you shouldn’t be having a baby

Don't worry. You will be a great mother. Just think about it. 9 months plus an hour or 2 of pain is worth a lifetime of happiness. Then you can give your husband some payback by taking him to get strapped onto a machine that makes him feel labor pains. Be sure to record it and post it. Congrats!

Why on earth would anyone take that many tests at a time. Why not take one and wait for the results then maybe do a second after the results have come up??? This is crazy.

April Fellers sometimes different brands don’t pick up as well so it’s best to try a few different kind, and then if any pick up the pregnancy go to the doctor, I tried 3 and only one said pregnant and I went to the doctor and found out I was 9 weeks. Not sure about doing this many per say lol it is a lot but I did three I think that’s enough lol
I agree! I took 12 in the course of 2 months. Different brands, different types, and different times. Just to cover all bases, and to pass the time while waiting for doctors appointment to confirm it.

i never had to wait the full 3 minutes for mine all 3 of mine for my 3 pregnancies came up as soon as i dipped it clear as day and within a couple secs lol.

A real waste is taking three tests at different times, all of them telling you that you're NOT pregnant...and then you feel the baby kick a couple months later.

I had a neg pregnancy test as blood test and was so certain I was tested 3 weeks later at home test and was positive.

Save your money. You can have all the negatives in the world but if you have one (clear) positive, you know it's right.. you can't get a positive without the pregnancy hormone. If you get a clear positive, make an appointment immediately and let your Dr.confirm it!

Why does she use so many tests ? When I found out I was pregnant I just used one cheap test and then take a blood test to confirm the pregnancy, nobody needs 5 positive tests I can't understand
