Not the run I was hoping to get world record with, but still a pretty solid run other than Halo and TnR. Giga carried by Library, but happy I was able to clutch it out.
Will probably grind a bit more to get it at least close to sub 1:03, maybe even a 1:02 if I want my sanity to completely diminish.

Is this being played on an older version of MCC? I noticed it's showing the Anniversary HUD during classic gameplay
No, I play with the remastered HUD. There's a setting to either use classic, anniversary, or have it switch when u change graphics.
However, most runners do run CE on version 2645 all the way from Novemwber 2021.
The most recent couple patches have had fixes to them that broke stuff after 2645 though, making them runnable as well. So I just switched over to current patch.
hey, i dont know too much about mcc speedruns, why do you switch to aniversary when out of bounds, or doing jumps? surely the geometry is more accurate in classic
Only the current viewed area that you were last in bounds in is visually loaded in classic graphics while out of bounds.
Saber Interactive had the genius idea of having the entire level's anniversary graphics loaded all at once, so we can see areas that aren't even currently loaded. Probably due to time constraints since it's probably why the Xbox 360 could barely handle the remaster

Not with current full game strats.
Every IL strat + cutscenes add up to 59 minutes tho

Possible with all the IL strats, but not with the current fullgame strats we employ.
The game needs 1 or 2 more big skips before reaching the sub 1 hour barrier.

Why is WR entirely dependant on one singular level. God this game sucks so bad, lol. But grats either way, nice run.
Yeah, it didn't use to be this way.
But as the times got lower, the requirements for a lucky Library became more and more needed.
Which sucks as lot.
With the addition of BOOL on TB as well, Library became the only real heavy RNG level in the run.

Sum of ILs + cutscenes is 59 minutes. So possible, but not going to happen without more consistent tricks.
1:02 is probably the threshold with current strats.
Sum of best is 1:01, but I don't see that happening.
