We Are Augustines is probably the best American band that no one knows of! They sing of subjects that no other artists would probably ever dare to write. There is probably not a bad track on this album. Long live We are Augistines!

i only came across this band recently but i couldnt be happier that i did. their lyrics and music hold so much meaning and emotions that even when i have listened to this song for the hundredth time today, it will still give me goosebumps. genuinely amazing stuff.
The video makes me love this song even more and I didn't think that was possible. If you haven't done so yet you must catch them live if you get the chance! Apart from listening to their whole album that is.

Just saw them in Lincoln opening up for Counting Crows. They are amazing. You can tell they love performing and sharing their music. Recommend trying to see them live. I really like CC, but I'm more into heavier stuff. I went to see CC, and was pleasantly surprised to experience these guy's music. Duritz hand picked the opening acts, and he was recording these guys on his phone. Nuff said.
There's always someone out there who feels just like this, I don't know if this good or bad anyway. I just know that it makes me feel a little less painful about myself
I must say that just week ago, I didn't know about these guys. But I'm very much thankful for my friend who told me about them. Every single song & video is unigue and makes me sad in one way or another. Those guys are true musicians and may that last (at least for a bit).

I just got back from Juarez (9 months there), i live in Chicago, and TRUST ME Juarez is safer than Chicago for sure. I can walk with my iphone in the middle of night while coming out of clubs and nothing would happen to me in Juarez and the night I got to Chicago I was nervous of walking the streets or taking the bus. People will shank you if you dont give up your phone in the train or bus. SHits scary in Chicago.
