@@charlesthorne9487 Never said he doesn't deserve the views, but after all the work Frontier put in to deliver us a better Jurassic World game I think we should be appreciating the species we have and all their new animations.
I mean he made it VERY clear in the video that a) these are his opinions and b) bar the bottom 3 he likes ALL of the other species. Nothing about his video is bashing Frontier's work.
Honestly as one of the people who is glad we got every Dino from the first game brought back the only dinosaur I dislike is dreafnaughtus and it’s stupid manatee face. So I hope we get the movie version eventually.
Personally my favorite parts of the game were the customization of the dinosaurs and their interactions. I feel they should have had at least 3 different interactions for all of the dinosaurs(I’m perfectly fine if they wanted to recycle animations for several of the dinosaurs so it isn’t an overload). But they’d have 3 each representing a different “mood” essentially. So you’d have playful which they could have an organic genuinely silly moment even the big sauropods could push each other gently then “sprint” a head. Next you’d have territorial behavior which could be nipping or sizing each other up. And lastly would be neutral/friendly which could be anywhere from nuzzling, grooming/preening, and keeping watch while sleeping or eating. Features that I’d absolutely love to see (since my favorite part of the gameplay are the dinosaurs themselves) • More than just two interacting (maybe 3) • Favoritism of a certain individual in the group after an extended amount of time. (Ex: Wanting to sleep, eat, or stay near the individual the dinosaur had picked) • Dinosaurs act different when feeling lonely, unwell, etc. instead of carrying on with their lives maybe they’d sleep more or drag their feet, if they are hungry maybe they fight members of the herd/pack off. • MOST WANTED: Realistic Behaviors- what I mean by this is having dinosaurs do “less elegant” things so that they feel a bit more real. Examples could be if they trip or maybe they completely fall over. Rubbing on fences, sneezing, getting startled by thunder or other dinosaurs, yawning/stretching, AND NOT ROARING after every failed kill 🤣. This was just a personal list of things “I” would love to see ~❤️
I didnt like what they did with cohabitation a little bit. My fav combo in JWE1 was stegosaurid and Ceratopsid being together and all Sauropods being with the the hadrosaurs and ornithimimids. Thank god the last 2 can live with their distant cousins without issue.
It just looks uncomfortable, they stretched it out and forced it to fit the Brachiosaurus rig which makes it look like it's constantly walking with a full diaper around its ass.
Gotta love Maia randomly splitting the herd and ending up lonely so they can plot a mass breakout Also kentro literally full impaling eachother in their social animation
Interesting list, you made several good points… Uh, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEE THE PTEROSAUR-INDORAPTOR ANIMATION! I just saw a short clip of it, and it is really cool!
All the sauropods have these really stupid looking stocky forelimbs which they don't have in reality, they should be almost dainty in comparison. The annoying thing is that the Apatosaurus in JW HAD ACCURATE LIMBS and they changed them????
Hey BiS, I was wondering. Do you think you could do a top 10 and worst 10 dinosaur list to use in Jurassic difficult in challenge mode? So the top 10 most cost/space effective that can be grouped with so and so for maximum efficiency. Against the worst 10 to use, too expensive, needs too much room/requirements, anti social etc lol.
In my personal opinion, the main carnivores of the game (Velociraptor, Rex, Indominus, Spino, etc.)are on the TOP of the list, compared to the first game. Weather its animations, texture, interactions, etc. Its all beautifully done and i can see the carnivores were worked on longer than the others.
! These are my favorites ! 1, Giganotosaurus 2, Pachyrhinosaurus 3, Crylophosaurus 4, Attenborosaurus/Plesiosaurus 5, Nigersaurus/Amargasaurus (Personal opinion and subject to change, sorry about the combined ones just chose this off the top of my head, would need some time to make a cohesive list)
I agree everyone has their opinion on their favorites and not favorites. I recently did my own ranking including all the current dinosaurs in jurassic world evolution 2. Here are my bottom 15 87. Styracosaurus 88. Tylosaurus 89. Pteranodon 90. Compsognathus 91. Corythosaurus 92. Torosaurus 93. Crichtonsaurus 94. Nodosaurus 95. Nigersaurus 96. Camarasaurus 97. Archeornithomimus 98. Diplodocus 99. Apatosaurus 100. Muttaburrasaurus 101. Maiasaura 102. Mamenchisaurus
I think the issue with Maisaura is that it unfortunately falls short of using the skin wrap design. Sometimes it looks good on dinos like the T rex, but sometimes it look awkward on the mouth like Maia.
Hey BestInSlot any chance of a tips video for Chaos Theory and Challenge mode? I've never touched Challenge mode in JWE1 . So far your tip about using the wide path and just having one hatchery and using the air lift helped me out for the Jurassic Park Chaos Theory part.
Not gonna lie from this batch of animals from worst to best Id personally rank them as: Apato: Cause its just a big fat bolb that doesnt look like the film one. Dread: Cause I never liked the head or the odd posture the body has and dear lord please Fontier add the Dominion one as its own skin. Maia: Who I mostly just dislike cause of the pain and suffering they caused me in the Tacano Campaign(I didnt get their social high enough in time chaos happend) Kentro: I never really used this guy so I havent formed much of an atachment, not the bigest fun of the pattern on it either. Sauropelta: An angry old man in the first game that just hated to live with basically anything, and the desgin never really stood out too much for me. Polocanthus: This guy was the nodosaurid I used the most last game, and while I do agree it doesnt seem to have the glow up some of the other animals did I like the warpaint like pattern it has on its skin. Mamenchi: This guy was a bit of a pain due to how much forest they need, but Im okay with it, and I have to say I like the Frontier design more than the film one.Mostly cause the film one is basically a Seismosaurus which is basically just a very big Diplodocus, so having two Diplodocusus in the game would be boring. So Im fine with Mamenchi been closer to the real animal. Archeornithomimus: This guy got quite a glow up from last game, head seems to have goten a remodel, and has more lanky proportions than the squised ones in the first game, along with the skin not looking as plasticy. and I really like the skin its got. Dracorex: I also used this guy alot in the old game, even if Dracorex is just a juvenile Stygimoloch in reality its kinda intresting they made it its own thing in the JWE universe. Cool fact about Dracorex and other Juvenile Pachis, but they straight up had fangs on the front of their mouths which sugests that while they where younger they might have been more omnivorous. Diplodocus: My personal favourite sauropod in the first game and I still like, it seems Frontier made it look quite a bit like the WWD one which I am okay with. I do wish that Diplo and other long tailed sauropods had better animations for their tails tho,as mentioned before giving them a tail animation like the WWD Diplo would look nicer. But yeah thats my ranking of this dino batch.

Seeing the amount of bland sauropods it amazes why they didn’t go for a unique skeleton like Therizenosaurus, I would of love to have seen a star herbivore in my park like therizeno and see it’s fight interactions being one of the first herbivores to use huge claws it could definitely hold its ground.
I believe that the Mamenchisaurus doesn't look like the one from the movie because the one from the movie was originally suppoded to be Seismosaurus. (It really only is a Mamenchisaurus in the name)
I think what's bugging you about maiasaura is that the head is ridiculously shrink-wrapped. You can literally see the outline of the skull, sunken eyes and all, it's like they've grafted a decomposing carcass' head onto a vaguely hadrosaurid body. Not their best design by any chance of the imagination...
I feel like Sauropods have it so rough because they are pretty much just elephants minus everything that makes elephants interesting forcefully pressed into the shape of a Sauropod. There is so much obvious rich-ness in Sauropods that differentiates them from elephants and would influence their behaviour that it really sucks that they are the designated boring background dinosaurs, not just here but in basically all of the dinosaur media.
I would like to apologise to every dinosaur in this list but SOMEBODY has to be in the bottom 10!

@@liamking2204 true, but I was personally hoping some species in the first game were replaced by something else
...they're his worst dinosaurs. if you don't like it just don't watch the video.
It’s sad as I love Maiasaura
The Mamenchisaurus in TLW was actually planned to be a Diplodocus but then they gave it a last minute name change.
As soon as the Maia walked out I laughed so hard~
Some interesting shuffling around from the first game's list, glad most dinos are more loved.
The Apatosaurus gets bonus points for the hilarious bug it has when it gets transported
Best in slot just want to say Ur one of the best Dinosaur RUclipsR ever and also I Hope u get to 1million subs
You should rank all of the rocks
MY nemesis - es are generally the small carnivores. You cannot stop them from breaking out during a storm.
Use a better fence
Why would that adorable ancient bird mimic be the worst? The Archaeornithomimus is cute and i can pet it.
its basically just a smaller gallimimus. its kinda boring
Honestly as one of the people who is glad we got every Dino from the first game brought back the only dinosaur I dislike is dreafnaughtus and it’s stupid manatee face. So I hope we get the movie version eventually.
Love your videos and have been watching since jpb keep doing good videos
Features that I’d absolutely love to see (since my favorite part of the gameplay are the dinosaurs themselves)
• More than just two interacting (maybe 3)
• Favoritism of a certain individual in the group after an extended amount of time. (Ex: Wanting to sleep, eat, or stay near the individual the dinosaur had picked)
• Dinosaurs act different when feeling lonely, unwell, etc. instead of carrying on with their lives maybe they’d sleep more or drag their feet, if they are hungry maybe they fight members of the herd/pack off.
This was just a personal list of things “I” would love to see ~❤️
To be fair, the roars after failed kills are probably anger, they get pissed
Maiasaura is beatuful how dare you
I didnt like what they did with cohabitation a little bit. My fav combo in JWE1 was stegosaurid and Ceratopsid being together and all Sauropods being with the the hadrosaurs and ornithimimids. Thank god the last 2 can live with their distant cousins without issue.
I don’t see what’s wrong with Dreadnoughtus. It is my favorite sauropod in the game, but it would be nice if they add a more vibrant pattern.
It just looks uncomfortable, they stretched it out and forced it to fit the Brachiosaurus rig which makes it look like it's constantly walking with a full diaper around its ass.
Gotta love Maia randomly splitting the herd and ending up lonely so they can plot a mass breakout
Also kentro literally full impaling eachother in their social animation
I smell controversy... 😂
2:52 Cries in no BABR Allo
The maiasaura looks like its about to starve to death, it could use a bit more chunkiness, especially in the skull.
There ya go, how's that for channel engagement? A comment for every dinosaur. You're still best in slot (even if you may be a German spy...)
I still can’t get over the fact that Dracorex and Stygimoloch aren’t considered valid species anymore but are still separate species in JWE
Same with the Trodon
Well, im glad there all in, we get two spiky Versions of pachy
Interesting list, you made several good points… Uh, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEE THE PTEROSAUR-INDORAPTOR ANIMATION! I just saw a short clip of it, and it is really cool!
Drednaughtus this low,YOU MONSTER!!!
All the sauropods have these really stupid looking stocky forelimbs which they don't have in reality, they should be almost dainty in comparison. The annoying thing is that the Apatosaurus in JW HAD ACCURATE LIMBS and they changed them????
I hate the skeletal design of the Maia
1, Giganotosaurus
2, Pachyrhinosaurus
3, Crylophosaurus
4, Attenborosaurus/Plesiosaurus
5, Nigersaurus/Amargasaurus
(Personal opinion and subject to change, sorry about the combined ones just chose this off the top of my head, would need some time to make a cohesive list)
I agree everyone has their opinion on their favorites and not favorites. I recently did my own ranking including all the current dinosaurs in jurassic world evolution 2. Here are my bottom 15
87. Styracosaurus
88. Tylosaurus
89. Pteranodon
90. Compsognathus
91. Corythosaurus
92. Torosaurus
93. Crichtonsaurus
94. Nodosaurus
95. Nigersaurus
96. Camarasaurus
97. Archeornithomimus
98. Diplodocus
99. Apatosaurus
100. Muttaburrasaurus
101. Maiasaura
102. Mamenchisaurus
Idk man Kentro is awesome the patterning and everything, personally i dont think its the worst stegosauridae in the game
I always love the top 10 ranking videos, and this one is pretty great
diplodocus is my absolute favorite sauropod. I always have to have them in my parks on JWE and JWE2, I love them so much
Is it just me or dose dred sound like Godzilla trying to use his atomic breath
I think the issue with Maisaura is that it unfortunately falls short of using the skin wrap design. Sometimes it looks good on dinos like the T rex, but sometimes it look awkward on the mouth like Maia.
Hey BestInSlot any chance of a tips video for Chaos Theory and Challenge mode? I've never touched Challenge mode in JWE1 . So far your tip about using the wide path and just having one hatchery and using the air lift helped me out for the Jurassic Park Chaos Theory part.
"I hate it's stupid face'
Yes me too I frigging hate it !!!!!
What are your top 10 favorites? I don't really have one but my favorite currently is Qianzhousaurus
I also really like the qianzhousaurus, It's my favorite carnivore.
Not gonna lie from this batch of animals from worst to best Id personally rank them as:
Apato: Cause its just a big fat bolb that doesnt look like the film one.
Dread: Cause I never liked the head or the odd posture the body has and dear lord please Fontier add the Dominion one as its own skin.
Maia: Who I mostly just dislike cause of the pain and suffering they caused me in the Tacano Campaign(I didnt get their social high enough in time chaos happend)
Kentro: I never really used this guy so I havent formed much of an atachment, not the bigest fun of the pattern on it either.
Wrong. The correct answer is:
1. Deinonychus
2. Deinonychus
3. Deinonychus
4. Deinonychus
5. Deinonychus
6. Deinonychus
7. Deinonychus
8. Deinonychus
9. Deinonychus
10. Deinonychus
You're right Deino is all the top ten best dinosaurs 😤😤
Hi bestinslot I’m a big fan
There is no official worst dinosaur in jwe2 every dinosaur is good in their own way and can make a park shine in their own way
Dtacorex has some insane details. The beak has tiny cracks and stuff. Has to be hard trying to rank these, they are all amazing
The release animations hit differently when they are being watched during a "worst of" video.
Love your vids !!!! 😆
Would be smart to model the kentrosaur after the one in camp Cretaceous trailer
Im Glas they didn't. I really disluke the CC version
4 - kentrosaurus - gotta hard disagree here, love this one way more than chunkysaurus or hugewangosaurus
5:10 for better Dracorex model, get Feilong's Pachy Edits. I heard he did well
Totally not self advertisement
me: "All dinosaurs and prehistoric animals look great!"
*Looks at jurassic world pteranodon*
Me: "okay most designs are great..."
(Please give us the jp3 pteranodon back frontier!)
As ugly as it is, the JW Pteranodon is ironically kinda more accurate than the JP3 one simply because the JP3 one has teeth, even tho Pteranodon is literally named after its lack of teeth.
@@cintronproductions9430 True! But other than the teeth it looks so cool! I wish they kept that design for the world era movies and games and just removed the teeth! It looks way nicer!
In my opinion the new one is miles better but then no one asked me
@@Famou5NW I completely agree with you! The jp3 pteranodons they released in the new update look incredible! Way better than the jurassic world era pteranodons!
You did not put Apatosaurus at the bottom. You did not. My number 1 dInosaur infront of Baryonyx. You didn't.
The drednotis sounds like Godzilla getting ready to blast
erm the video quality is fine but the actual video keeps stuttering slightly. i think its the recording because other youtube videos are fine. Btw nice job on the video ive been watching this channel for over 6 years if not more!
Polacanthus and dracorex are my 2 favourite Herbivores in the game sooo 😬😬😬
I believe that the Mamenchisaurus doesn't look like the one from the movie because the one from the movie was originally suppoded to be Seismosaurus. (It really only is a Mamenchisaurus in the name)
My top 10 would be:
10. Ankylosaurus
9. Tropegnathus
8. Suchomimus
7. Corythosaurus
6. Acrocanthosaurus
5. Parasaurolophus
4. Ourannosaurus
3. Ceolophysis
2. Iguanadon
1. Pachyrhinosaurus
You should do a ranking of dinosaur exit animation including marine reptiles and pterosaurs
The Maiasaura is SOOO shrinkwrapped and that beak makes it look like Charles II of Spain if he was drawn in The Simpsons style
Tbh I like Kentrosuarus' look but that "unghhh" sound it makes when coming out of the hatchery earns it that spot
Why isn't elasmo here, elasmo deserves be in the bottom 10s.
I got used to the Elasmo's design but I still question why they made it look like an ugly sea dragon thing. Why the spikes?
Try putting indoraptor with flying reptiles and see the cool animation
I want to get this game
Dreadnoughtus and mamenchisaurus need to switch places. Dreadnoughtus looks like a capybara
Ah, the pain of seeing four staples of my parks in here :,)
I actually forgot that the mamenchisaurus was in TLW
Understandable. They're only onscreen for like five seconds.
Seeing mamenchisaurus in this list makes me feel the rage of a thousand suns
I feel like Sauropods have it so rough because they are pretty much just elephants minus everything that makes elephants interesting forcefully pressed into the shape of a Sauropod. There is so much obvious rich-ness in Sauropods that differentiates them from elephants and would influence their behaviour that it really sucks that they are the designated boring background dinosaurs, not just here but in basically all of the dinosaur media.
Sauropods in the bottom 10 is a crime against humanity
3 - sauropelta - OK one of either this or pola has to be higher, I get not wanting so many clubless ankylosaurids but we need at least a couple
Ooo that hurts seeing Dracorex so low. It'd be in my top 25-30 at least.
