Good to see the young up and comer paul mcbeth win his first silver series event. Im excited to see how his game develops over the next couple years
Yeah i think he could win maybe 6 world championships if he keeps playing.
Yes. Bright future for sure.
A beacon of hope for us all!
Hopefully he has a good career!
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this guy for sure
I've had the privilege of being Martin Kneece's Dubs partner with the Augusta Disc Golf Association's Thursday Night Dubs. So happy to see him competing at his level. He was an amazing partner in a very casual league. Nice guy, super chill. Hope this is the start of great things for him.
He was killing it in the first two rounds. Unfortunate everyone didn’t get to see his full potential on the DGPT channel. Check out Ace Run Pro for r2 coverage of him!
Super stoked for him! He definitely has the talent, now he's gonna get those nerves in check. I couldn't imagine the stress of playing on a lead card with P McB and DubG.
@@thebadfarmer no doubt i can’t help but appreciate how well rounded his game is. And definitely a little bit intimidating haha
i was the guy paul almost hit with the disc on hole 18 lol (Casper)
The story you should be sticking to is that you took that one to save the dog.
U sir about died
Nice to see a new face on the card with Martin Kneece.
Your camera needs to be better on the 2nd shots! I don't know how far away they are from the hole, because you don't ZOOM OUT
Young players should notice how McBeth showed the least frustration after his circle 1 miss. He immediately forgot about it and dialed back in.
Couldn’t even watch Paul McBeth absolutely destroy these kids 😂
He definitely threw a few to the birds. Great sportsmanship! Gotta inspire the up and comers to build up those early season silver tour points...
Let's have an official statement from the dude that nearly got beaned by McBeth's disc at 35:22. Dude nearly lost his life on this fine day.
If you're at a tournament and you're not watching the final group throw into the Final green, you deserve to get hit.
@@phonypeeps7020 Haha! My thoughts exactly.
He did. Two posts below yours!
He was fine, I was the disc.
why are so many holes distances listed so inaccurately? How does that happen in the age of bushnells lol??
Because most of these courses were designed and measured way before modern technology of range finders. In most cases these distances were walked off and when holes aren’t perfectly straight, it’s not easy to get an accurate measurement by walking it off with tape measures or other methods. Range finders have been a game changer because they are pretty much dead on with the distance
Also, most courses don’t feel like redoing all their signs just to change the distance, even if it is slightly off. A lot of courses on the pro tour have adapted and changed their signs and distances though especially after their course is called out on Jomez on multiple holes for having the wrong distance
@@timothymeyer3632 But range finders have been around for long enough for someone to change a $50 sign... seems like a critical failure in course management surely?
@@AIKIDOSILVERDALE maybe. But most of these courses are held together by volunteers and donations. It's all about the monetization. The sport is still "taking off" 40 years later. I've known about this game pretty much all my life but never played a round till a few months ago and I'm 56.
I mentioned the pitiful 🏆that was handed to Paul in a post.
Ridiculous. I'm sure the payout was pitiful and Ridiculous as well.
Point being. The host course and organizing body could have done better with the "jazz". A lot of these guys that are pro are just part timers that work it in just like all of us that play when we can.
Why not get a local ACE hardware store to put up a big zero turn mower or green egg for first ace on a hole. Everyone of those dudes on tour could and would use either one of those.
The equipment manufacturers have figured out how to make money with it.....
The content providers and internet disc golf "coverages" are getting significant steady views and traffic witch means $$$$$$.
The playing arena is next.......
Good to see Noel Miller's older brother out playing some dg
57mph for double G's tee shot on hole 17? no way jose
Ezra Robinson's backhand and putting form is crazy similar to Eveliina Salonen.
It's exactly identical to his brother
One hole into the back nine and Paul has a 10 point lead. When do we call it a "skunk"?
I mean what do you expect? It’s Paul mcbeth
The commentary is pretty monotone, could use a little more insight into the round or color commentary
less is more on the commentary boys
Kneece is an awesome putter!

Omg you’re so cool
Great commentary, keep it up! Thanks!

Not to be THAT GUY, but I’ll be THAT GUY lol. Garden spiders are NOT banana spiders and anyone down south will tell you. The easiest way to tell the difference is the web. Banana spiders spin a gold web, but the gardens spin a white web with a zig zag pattern in the center.
Is that an old pizza hut on hole 18?
Is it possible to know the leaders' payouts?
$2400 to Paul.
$1800 GG
Ezra and Isac $1400
They usually have it on their website too.
PDGA results page
That trophy, though.....
I've seen pee wee soccer participation trophies that would put to shame the hardware that was handed to Mcbeth.
😂😂😂
For real though lol
I doubt they give blown glass trophies to children, that thing would be quite heavy for a child and would certainly break quickly showering them with shards of glass when they drop it.
If Biden can give crack pipes to meth heads I don't see why pee wee soccer players can't handle a blown glass trophy...
@@subspaceanomaly 🤔
He said on hole 10 over that river lol
Emphasizing that he wins his FIRST silver series event... haha
🤣🤣 Interesting that all four silver event winners in the 2023 season are first time silver event winners! Luke, Macie, Maria, and...Paul.
3:53 :D
neither said "jinx" : )
McBeth now thinks he’s a 7x World champion….
Pretty understandable that this Paul McBeth guy wouldn't understand the etiquette around tapping out for the win, what with him being so new to the Silver Series tour and all. Hopefully he cleans that up for future events.
🤣
Glad to watch this just before I head out on 38° temperature to huck 18 baskets of disc in Utah ❤️🥏
Yeah same here in mn! It sucks!
@Ablinkon time had a sweat going by the 5th basket and I throw a 6 under in the mountain course probably the last one this year snow is a coming up this high right now 🥶😅
