Eric does not know how to give up, Rosie has moved on so long ago from him but he is still stuck in the past (and repeats the same mistakes, like dictating her food). Same with Fang. Perhaps Rosie will have other lovers in the future besides Fu Jiaming, but one thing I know about her, she won't look back to the past and pick back up what has already been discarded. She learns from past mistakes and sails forward.

She’s lived since then, chances are it’s no longer her favorite dish or never was, and even if it still is, she might have been in the mood to try something else that day. All that to say, she is a grown adult that can order her own meal without a patronizing partner deciding what she’s going to eat. It’s obvious it’s bothering her, same as it was obvious years ago, but he is clearly not a very perceptive person.

One thing i loved the most about this drama is how real and loving Rosie's parents were,they supported their kids throughout..and the growth of the 3 women's friendship was so beautiful to see❤
Rose is very lucky to have such happy supportive and loving family. It is a huge blessing. So glad to see her getting back with GorTung. Hope they stay together for the rest of their life.

She left him for a younger Korean-American. Very handsome I must say. Treats her like a princess. She finally stayed put with him. She got lucky because she is not pretty.
The fact is on the whole pretty girl often don’t end up with handsome guys or someone nice to her. Beauty doesn’t last guys moved on. Whilst a lot of ordinary looking girls married well because man after their inner beauty which is more lasting.
U don’t need to be pretty to be with handsome guys…it’s not all about appearance

I am going to go agains/ the grain here but I think Rose has a selfish commitment issues. I think that her choices allowed her to take a path doing as she pleased, even her commitment to her daughter was weak.
I think she has been trying to be a career woman and at the same time dealing with an unsupportive boyfriend or husband,but she never neglected her daughter. She later had her parents help taking care of her daughter (which is quite coomon in China) after her divorce and went on new adventures in Beijing - work, dating...

黄振华和苏苏这一对演的最好 佟大为不演主角也出彩。刘亦菲可能本人比较美 个人觉得镜头前她并不是那种一眼惊人的美 但是确实好看有气质 这部剧简直就是她个人服装走秀场，记得参加别人的婚礼还弄了个理由换个身衣服，虽然行为浮夸 但是着实大部分穿搭都是好看时尚的 也为这部剧加了碼。 其实这个角色很好的 很喜欢她一步步的蜕变 活成了我们都向往的样子。刘亦菲演技虽然一直不怎么好 但是这部剧里是进步了。 之前有人说因为她长得太美所以在她旁边的男人都不觉得像情侣 觉得是瞎说了 明明是她演技不好 可能比较真性情 明显跟霍建华演一对的时候就比别人投入很多 😂

我觉得是以前没有适合她的角色
She is hardly pretty as a goddess or the prettiest, but she has a certain natural pretty look. Her pair of long legs that makes her looking good in most clothing, Her complexion seem flawless in the screen however her nose got a noticeable bump which she could have it surgically improved.
可能劉和霍的chemistry 更多，所以演起感情戲時投入更好 於是兩人的情侶感覺也更有說服力。
