onya lads . . . for coming all the way downunder and having a go Kiwi style. I shot my first deer at 15 on a solo hunt coming along those tops from the road towards Devilskin Saddle. Gotta admit I was carrying way less gear than you guys, bu ttimes have changed I guess. Real nice to see you walking in . . . honest hunting. (You'll be back!)
Thank you! Yeah, we wanted to have as genuine of a NZ hunting experience as we could get, and I think we got pretty close. It was a hunt of a lifetime, and we will for sure be back!
Nice video lads, the local lingo is, mud hole = wallow, spike =fly camp, bowl = head basin, glad you got some reward & surprised you didn’t see some Cham up there.
Thank You! Definitely big difference in country, there’s just nothing quite like NZ. In Alaska where we’re from, we tend to see pretty high animal numbers, but what really blew us away, was the amount of Tahr we saw, I think we spotted close to 80 in one day.
@@northstarpro.2730 oh I no so unforgiving that country , and dangerous , take care can't wait to see more movies from you guys .....oh and I've lost my fair share of animals too
Awesome adventure guys! Great video thanks for sharing

Enjoyed that. Good on you guys for making the trip and doing a real public land New Zealand hunt. Good stuff!
Thank you, we really appreciate that!
Good shit. Well done for doing it on public land and shooting a real stag. Not one of them private land monstrosities
