South Island Rifle Walkers Put the glass over a good number, but that 10 was by far the best we could find as well hope he makes a few more years could be a ripper! Took a meat animal each so was a bloody good trip after being locked up for the best of the roar. Loving your vids you guys most definitely put the hard yards in.

Hey mate, we're thinking of doing a gear run through at some stage in the future. For the meanwhile I'd suggest going to your local hunting store and they'll see you right. Don't skimp on the boots, you'll appreciate a good pair!

Onya guys. Good to see other fellas doing some walking in that area. Rolling toward some more long days on those ridgelines.
You can't beat a good backpacking trip, the walk definitely adds to the experience. Can't wait for a bit of snowmelt and some longer days!

What caliber are you guys using in the mountains?
Got a couple options depending on the trip but mainly a 308 or the 300 rum for the longer shots.

We're using Ledlensers, they're bloody game changers! The MH10 is a great model, battery lasts for ages and its never let me down in 3 years of use
