Had Timing chain changed on Mazda 6 2009 Sport diesel, but DPF light continued to flash. This worked perfectly no warning lights now at all. Saved me an ongoing headache, problem solved in 2 minutes. Thank you for posting
Flashing DPF light is Oil service. Are You sure You had to replace timing chain? On my when it starts flashing just reseted oil service, with no timming chain replacement
It worked well and the car was completely muted and the fuel consumption was reduced, but I tried to recalibrate but it didn't work anymore the car didn't change
Wonder if anyone can help here's the chain if events and at the end of it.. The car has lost about half of its power. Dpf light on. Car was in limp mode - did a regeneration /chemical clean = car ran fine. Dpf light on. Did a stage 1 remap = car was faster. Dpf light on. Did a timing chain and oil replacement. Car loss power 5 mins after driving it. Dpf light on. Did the manual injectors fix (tapping the wire 5 times) FINALLY DPF LIGHT OFF!! Car still has power loss. Did the manual pumping of brake and clutch 5 times to recalibrate timing chain. Power loss still. So now the car has no dpf light but has what feels like half its power??? What could be an issue?? Could the dpf be slightly clogged after I drove it after timing chain replacement because the garage didn't do the chain reset procedure?? I'd need someone to do a dpf parameters check I presume?.. But there's no warning light on?.. So
