What if you only have a single row of a color change? For instance, instead of doing stripes, you just do one single row of a different color. I can't use any of the methods with that one right?
Debi Rains a little late for this, but no it doesn’t. You just knit those two together and you still have the same number of stitches you started out with
Wonderful technique! And so easy! Good teaching; it was easy to follow along and understand.
I like the first method of slipping the first stitch of the 2nd row.of colour interchange. Thank you for sharing.

You always have to do more then one row of a different color for it to be a stripe.
For method no. 2, I have read that the marker should be moved to the left....any advice?
I’ve only seen this done while n a knit stitch. Is there a method for while on a purl row?
Changing colors on a purl row will create purl dash lines so better to knit the first row after a color change
Forget the jog, I wanna know what's going on with that purple poking throught the bottom green section.
Very helpful thank you
Thanks so much!!! 🌸
Doesn’t method 2 add an extra stitch
