Tomato Toph can bend metal and Zuko, as a firebender, can learn how to use lightning (which only firebenders can do). Firebenders *can* learn how to combustion bend which is bending an explosion from their mind (crazy, ik).

Technically, as toph you should be able to get both stone and metal because she is a metalbender. Though, you might be doing blind bandit toph, back when she couldn’t bend metal.
