I too secured admission in number 1 engineering university in Pakistan NUST bachelors of civil engineering where 48000 people applied and only 250 got admitted in that batch (0.5%). All on merit. Now I am studying MBA in top 50 ranked business school in the world in UK (top 10 in Europe, 2nd in London). Never give up despite all the challenges. I too had suicidal thoughts when I didnt get job after NUST but started my own business in construction and real estate. All the society disowned me. But i never gave up. In relation to the guy who shared his story of not getting admission in uni of his choice, let me share my story aswel. So l am an MBBS student . The first time I gave mdcat I got rejected, was in depression the whole Year , studied hard enough and got into the top 500 students out of 90,000 students and got admission in third best medical uni of Pakistan (Although wanted to get in 2nd best uni) and still got worst depression to the point I started having breathing problem ( the reason being the hostel life and ragging) . Then came this covid and it almost given me the second Life as I get to spend my time with my family and loved ones. So in conclusion, success doesn't define wether you'll be happy or depressed but the people u surround yourself with...so buddy chin up , give the test another chance and if it still doesn't go as u planned , just remember it's for Ur own benefit and you will realise that later in your life...Love and hugs towards u ♥️

And this might be an issue with specific type of Muslims living in India. Heck, I have been in Delhi for more than 15 years and my home is hardly 1km away from DU South Campus. Girls can wear jeans and do wear jeans and even shorts. Even in Jamia Milia Islamia(JMI) jeans are allowed for both men and women.

In relation to the guy who shared his story of not getting admission in uni of his choice, let me share my story aswel. So l am an MBBS student . The first time I gave mdcat I got rejected, was in depression the whole Year , studied hard enough and got into the top 500 students out of 90,000 students and got admission in third best medical uni of Pakistan (Although wanted to get in 2nd best uni) and still got worst depression to the point I started having breathing problem ( the reason being the hostel life and ragging) . Then came this covid and it almost given me the second Life as I get to spend my time with my family and loved ones.
So in conclusion, success doesn't define wether you'll be happy or depressed but the people u surround yourself with...so buddy chin up , give the test another chance and if it still doesn't go as u planned , just remember it's for Ur own benefit and you will realise that later in your life...Love and hugs towards u ♥️
On any Indian platform I never see any kindness of Indian people towards Pakistani. But in a Pakistani social platform, the story is different.

And this might be an issue with specific type of Muslims living in India. Even in Pakistan where Muslims can speak up in any way, I can't find those blood shedding people as a very few used to be in the past, to whom government has tackled now.
Either Muslims in are so suppressed, that they don't have equal rights or you are having some other sort of people not Muslims, so kindly do not presume that Pakistanis are also that type. I live in a metropolitan city and there is no such thoughts anywhere at all, not even in any different sect.

The reality lies far away. There are a few people who are actually bad and the most of the people actually consider the reality to be what the news channel is sketching out every day. We both nations have lots of educated people, at least they should be able to see the reality.

I would love to hear a podcast on the history of Pakistan but from someone like Junaid bhai. I barely know anything (apart from 14 points of Quaid and whatever else they teach us in school) and i would love to know things like how PIA went down and all the other shit that went wrong with Pakistan. I would ask an elder around me but they all have their political biases and really makes the whole thing very uninteresting with their close-minded approach.

I'm presently a student of Aligarh Muslim University and trust me it is one of the only few remaining Islamic intellectual strongholds in India and students are thrashed every year on some matter or the other, last year hundreds of AMU students were thrashed and criminally prosecuted because they were involved in protests against a discriminatory bill.

there's a exam for entrance in top 5 engineering colleges of India it is known as JEE advanced examination there are only 5000 to 6000 seats in IITs and over 4 lakh student apply for that examination every year and it can guarantee you there are approx 1000 suicides per year due to not clearing this exam it's because of mental pressure applied by parents and society...

Heck, I have been in Delhi for more than 15 years and my home is hardly 1km away from DU South Campus. Girls can wear jeans and do wear jeans and even shorts. Shorts is quite common in Indian tier 1,2,3 cities for both the genders.

@@altamonte2110 Yes. But there is no such blanket policy in Delhi University, about which he has talked about. I have been to many fest and organised the fest for my college in Delhi. We had Fashion shows, speed dating (in some colleges), dance with strangers and partners, DJ nights etc during fest.
Jeans have never been prohibited in any university I have visited so far. Even in Jamia Milia Islamia(JMI) jeans are allowed for both men and women.

Second, he is a well rounded and popular YTuber who advices people about life choices. Yet, he is not responsible enough to make a Google search to fact check this topic which takes less than 5 minutes. He forms the opinion of lakhs of his followers.
Third, he believes India and Pakistan is same in most aspects which is wrong and gross generalisation. Competition in India is nowhere in the league of Pakistan. In JEE Mains(a sort of Engineering entrance exam) itself 13.56 lakhs candidates registered in 2014. As I have seen he believes everyone with a degree gets decent job in Pakistan or foreign country. Whereas, the movement of people is not so fluid in Indian context (you just don't get a job because of a degree).
Fourth, there is something such as constructive criticism. I have said he is misinformed and thus he is spreading misinformation. Is it not the truth? If he corrects himself or learns how to better research about the issues mentioned in video, wouldn't people be benefited?
Stop sweeping everything under the rug. Feedback is important for improvement and so is constructive criticism.
