Thank you for sharing your content! 🤝🤝🤝 I am an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic student and I really like your content. Please, if possible, could you make a video demonstrating how you document this work in the Logbook?
APU cooling fan shaft seals are quite a common source of oil leakage CREATING a fumes event. Nice to work in the bay when on the line and raining hard outside 😊
I've been watching your videos for a while now. They are really great. I have a question on this one. Did you start the APU in the hangar. I know the hangar door was open, but back in my day, the hangar fire suppression system would probably have gone off. We had to push the airplane back so the APU was clear of the hangar. Just curious. And Happy New Year. All the best for 2025.
@@zeto.r I sent the question before I got to that part of the video thanks anyway. One other question; the air to the cooler fan is coming from the main APU air intake?
Is the cleaned one also pressure tested? What is the stuff clogging it up and do any variants have a filter so you don’t need to do a complete removal?
Yes, it must be pressure tested for leaks. Your car cooler doesn't have a filter as well. The car cooler should be cleaned as well but no one is doing that

Very very good work compliments Zetoo
Thank you

Yes one of few possible sources 😅 it is nice just you must be skinny and I'm not 😁
Nice work! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Thank you very much 🙂. We can start APU in the hangar but of course, doors must be open. We never experienced a problem with fire protection
Ahoj super job ale co security wire asi si to len nedal do videa ci?
Safety wire sa dávať len na drain port ten je nainštalovaný a zaistený zo servisu 🙂
I dread having to go in an Airbus apu bay because usually if it's not for oil servicing it is always for something bad typically tied to a SOF event.
Hello Zeto. Maybe a stupid question but are the gloves you use nitrile based or some kind of rubber ?? Have a great new year and a good 2025.
Hi I have no idea 😁 I just know that white are for oil and dirt and green for hydraulic fluid and fuel
Why was the oil cooler replaced? Part of scheduled maintenance or fault reported?
I said it in the video when I removed it 🙂

LOVLY brother
Thank you 🙂
Looks like an intercooler on an M car
Not sure how that looks like
Don't you need an Inspector to look over your work, as a Part121???😮
No idea what is part 121 but for this job duplicate inspector is not required
