“Did you make arrangements with the gangsters before you came here” is a reference to Trick Trick’s no fly zone. Trick Trick declared Detroit a no fly zone for out of town rappers because out of town rappers wouldn’t put local rappers on features or sign them to their labels but would take all Detroit’s concert money. So he said unless they get permission first they weren’t allowed to perform in Detroit. That’s why they stopped Rick Ross’s tour bus and made him leave without performing. That’s why several artists have gotten beaten up and/or robbed going there.

Honestly though Detroit hasn't had very many successful rappers unlike LA, NY, Philly, etc. There's D12 and Eminem in particular, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Royce Da 59, 42 Dugg, Tee Grizzley and that's about it

You got the static cling part, but also static on a record like those old record players. And he’s saying that while he’s bringing the static (drama) to you and killing you (lyrically), that you’re clinging on for dear life...and you don’t want that!

Great reaction! 🔥 when M mentioned about checking in before the plane touches down he's referring to when trick trick the gangster from Detroit said that Detroit was a no-fly zone for other rappers. They needed to check in with him before coming here. Rick Ross was actually in Detroit for a concert and Trick Trick and his crew basically shut him out from performing because he didn't check in with them. You should really check out the song No Fly Zone by Trick-Trick and Royce 5'9"

And the reference to Ukraine is about the flight that dissapeared there and years later we were told Russians were making tests with jet fighter and shot a commercial flight down by mistake. So he's bringing that to the detroit no flight zone. So better make arrangements with trick trick before you come their way.

I feel like the song SHADYXV in the album with the same name is super under appreciated, I think it’s just one of those fun and funny songs that sounds like it was a freestyle
One of the most lyrically impressive joints in the history of hip hop, shit was incredible. What makes it even better was the fact that he wasn't even trying too hard, he was just having fun.
Not enough people know/mention his album SHADYXV (the album cover is the hockey mask and the two crossed chainsaws behind it). Eminem has so many albums and mixtapes its pretty wild, he even has misc. freestyles that can be viewed on youtube and more.

In term of the bernstein line, theres a local lawyer that has had commercials on local tv for like 30 years. His name is Sam Bernstein. Now his sons have become lawyers and are in the commercials and 1 of his sons is blind and is all cross eyed in the commercials.
