Love the piece....and that ending was adorable! I can't count how many times I've gone home from the studio, stopped at the store for something and then gotten home only to realize I had paint on my face (and clothes, and shoes....).
Landscapes are what I have eyes and a camera for. I do not know who let you into teaching art, but you have to be the most closed-minded teacher I've heard of. I bet you spent a lot of money to make it as an artist but had to settle on teaching middle school children how to be judgmental of others.
Thats one of the nicest paintings I've seen recently, in my opinion. I like how abstract art can promote feelings without "telling" you what to feel. Very nice work man
Oh wow! I love your line direction choices, colors, and the music fits it so well. I can see the waves. Really beautiful abstract painting. It's hard to be interesting enough with abstract work, but you did so successfully.
It's insane!!!! I sooooooooooooo love your painting!!! Everytime I watch the video I find it more and more beautifull!!! I just hope one day I will be as talented as you are!!!
I am such a huge fan of abstract art! I am remodeling my bedroom and the walls looks so bare. I wanted to splatter paint it but my parents disagreed. Now it seems art would help these barren walls.
wow this is awsome this inspired me cause i have not seen any one with talent like you people say im amazing at art then i watch your videos and think that your way better than amazing, great work x
very trippy cool...did not know the deftones could produce such a slow song...love the smudgy hands and face shot...and how you rotated painting...props
@JennyxCookies119 thank you. that's great! i didn't use acrylic for this painting, just oil paint. and i used it straight from the tube. no thinning at all. it's quite thick already and blends very well. with acrylic it would be difficult to produce an effect like i did here due to acrylics drying very quickly. hope that helps!
@Redfoday In early stages of a painting it's sort of a good idea to use thinnssr to make an underpainting. But I would suggest underpainting with watercolors since those dry quicker. When you've got a good color basis in your underpainting any black spots on the canvas will show through as the color you layered underneath. But never put thinned paints over fatter paints or you get cracking. That's the "Fat over lean" rule.
Ive got the same phone as you! Now onto a matter that actually relates to your video..... I love how you've blended the colours together! It looks like you've used charcoal based on the finished painting, great work :)
This is great... Thank you! I'm about to unpack all my art supply's (former art student... that moved ah lol) and create a bad ass painting. Thank you for the inspiration!
that painting is really captivating! ...it makes me want to go paint now. (and i'm an artist too, so seriously, it inspired me. ...thanks, jAckie messenger (songwriter & artst from Hawaii)
@classypockets i'm often the same, as good paint is so expensive, but if you've just got to go for it! don't be afraid to slap it on. like @elpelone said, use water to thin acrylics, or turpentine for oils. that'll help if you don't want to put such a thick layer on. and thank you! glad my painting could inspire you :)
Something from the outer space. Looks like eyes of some alien. Fantastic painting. Thank you for sharing.

beautiful panting and great technique...........
I thought that the sketch will ruin everything by being transparent but it actually came out super cool. Have to try it!
@dvdvns you could try. although acrylic is fast drying so you wouldn't be able to blend the paint so well like i've done here.
So good! I couldn't do this without it looking like kindergarden finger painting xD
