I go into it with great anticipation and excitement but no real plan, I just let nature take its course.At times I actually feel like a spectator when I paint, as if someone else is doing it.So much fun!

Not just this painting "Lilys song" but so many others show a unique and beautiful style of painting, the likes I have never seen. You are blessed with a gift - your gift brings joy and imagination to those who see your paintings, especially watching it emerge from the canvas. You should be in the Smithsonian or MOMY, somewhere the world could see your work forever.
I have been painting for 30 years and after two weeks of watching your videos I have reached new heights, thank you. also I have become much more prolific. One thing though. you could stop anytime after 10 minutes in and you would still have a beautiful painting. I never Know when to stop.

Michael, just watched this video. Great job. Several decads ago I use to paint a little. I enjoy watching others paint. When someone has fun, it shows. I know you have a lot of fun painting. I have used both hands when painting a wall in a house, but not when working on a painting. it is great to have all the tools at hand and use both equally as well. You do a great job. I will enjoy watching other videos you produce. Thanks again for sharing this with all of us.

I am so in love with your paintings. These curves, tribal designs, whatever you call them, are in all my artwork. I paint water color, digital art in Adobe Photoshop, I draw with charcoal and pastels and I love marker's and water color pencils, but guess what I'm getting for Christmas? Canvases and Acrylics with a medium polymer wash! I can't WAIT! Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Wow. Stunning. You make that ambidextrous thing you've got going look so darn easy too and the shading. As a dabbling painter its not as easy as you make it look.

I adore this painting. I just didn't see how it was going to turn into the end result until about half way through when it began to take shape. Talk about ambidextrous ! I could sense your excitement as you bopped from place to place - knowing exactly how to shape and shade .... then zipping to another area inspired frenzy. Your Lily is so rich, colourful, and fun. the loveliest piece of art-making i've seen for many a long day, particularly when much abstract art consists of muddy colours and no technique whatsoever.
I am always afraid of messing up!! I am a beginner and I cannot draw a thing but I am experimenting with acrylic paint, you are an inspiration and you are teaching me that you cannot fail, I have thrown alot of canvas paintings away cause I got annoyed with it.....but looking at you, I realize you can always add another touch untill you'' re satisfied! Thankx!

Wow, that was fun to watch. Been a watercolorist for years. Acrylic is something I used to use, more to fill in color but knew nothing about the mediums. This has inspired me to take classes in acrylic, thank you.
I love just sitting back with a glass of wine and just watching you paint. I am just amazed. Did you ever have a painting that you just did not like? I mean enough to gesso over it and call it gone. I know I have made several of my paintings disappear.

no problem, I hope it brings you as much joy as it does me! I use a medium to blend with(Liquitex matte) water is not a good vehicle to paint with, all it really does is break down the paint and take away its luster.Water is good for cleaning brushes.Enjoy...MIX

In my opinion the difficult part of that kind of art is to know where to stop. i prefer the painting in the time 6,17.. But i also believe that for the painter it is the journey that counts! :)

What a wonder, and what skill to use two brushes at a time. The combination of the colors is very young, modern. fascinated from Chile.
I create alot of my own, I mix and add till I get the colors I want. I do thicken and thin them with an acrylic medium as to get the thickness and transparency. I dont use water, to me it only seems to break down the paint.

I dont use water, it breaks down the paint, but I use lots of an acrylic polymer medium. Makes things go smooth. Enjoy!
