Jabrill Peppers will make any team happy who ever drafts him. I think he will go in the 1st round of the draft. Jabrill Peppers can play Saftey or Linebacker or even Kickoff returner and Punt returner or even running back
@@ajscrillaOhio state fan here.. everyone knows dudes keeping the ball if he’s in at wildcat.. I saw Travis Hunter take 4 screens this year 50 yards untouched cuz of horrible defense.. dude ran straight.. that’s not impressive

Even though Jabrill played for the team up north, hey all I can say is welcome to The Cleveland Browns. I know we got a super player who will make the Browns fans so proud to have you on their team.
Blame harbaugh for that one.Jabrills a SAFETY!Not a LB,DE,Rb or Wr.I truly feel he would've been set up better in the NFL if they kept him at SAFETY.Not that overrated viper position
beernliqour for lunch 1. viper isn’t offensive positions, in fact technically it’s none of those positions 2. Playing offense too has nothing to do with the development at safety 3. Browns played him wrong, giants are playing him right
Love the athlete and the I do it all mentality. Once he hones his craft Peppers is gonna be pretty good in the nfl. Playing so many postions has held back his development somewhat
One Interception in three years of playing time at Michigan. Considering the Wolverines and other top-tier programs play 3-4 teams a year that have no business competing against them, I wouldn't exactly call him a "playmaking" safety. No way he's DROY because he'll have a major learning curve. Is the guy a dynamic runner? Of course. But drafting a skilled return man with little to show defensively in the first round is a horrendous pick.
Luke Pashke in TWO years of playing time. He was injured for one. And one of those years being at linebacker where he played mostly at the line . The other, he was usually avoided. Stop. Talking. He's not a ball hawk. He's solid in coverage and always around the play. That's his strength. But listen to that regurgitated lazy draft analysis. The ONLY legit knock on Jabrill is that he doesn't create turnovers and is undersized. That's it. Hell, most Ohio State fans were all about giving him credit until everyone else started to... then the hating commenced.
Do you really constitute 45 total tackles as "always around the play"? That's his 2015 totals. Then yes, they move him closer to the box next year and he "racks up" a whopping 66 tackles. Granted 13 were for a loss, but 7.5 of those came against Rutgers, Illinois, Indiana, Central Florida, and Hawaii. He's either a one-dimensional safety, or an undersized linebacker in the NFL, you tell me. Otherwise known as a reach in the first round. Stop. Talking. References: www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jabrill-peppers-1.html www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jabrill-peppers-1/gamelog/2016/
Jabrill Peppers is an interesting prospect. He personally said he would play a type of strong safety or rover that plays in the box on 1st down. He is easily one of the best athletes in this draft and his role is very interesting when he played for michigan but it worked because they knew how to use him. Same goes in this draft. A team drafting Jabrill knows what they will get out of him. A hybrid safety that can play in the box, cover running backs and sometimes tight ends, and protect the edge from anything. I love Jabrill and would love for the Bears to pick him up in the 2nd round but many people have him as 1st round talent. WE WILL SEE BUT HE IS OVERHYPED BUT LOVE THE KID
I don't care about either and hate him. Video should be titled Mr. Average. Great athlete??? YES. Good DB? NOPE. Has a chance to be a decent return guy that's it.
Go Blue! I think he's 1st Rd caliber no doubt but the depth in this draft is crazy so I can see him falling to the 2nd but no further than that. Great Vid JBP!
jcaleb23 In a Gregg Williams defense, jack of all trades will make the pro bowl. Not to mention his special teams talent and fact the Browns will use him in the wildcat in the red zone. Barring injuries, he will be a beast.
your videos are so much better than harris' man! you show the whole play, harris only shows 3-4 sek "highlight" of play. doesnt matter how good the play is if you dont see how a player made it, without yourr channel looking up prospects before every draft would be so much worse
It's tough that we only see a lot of returns and not many defensive plays. He is still a freak of an athlete but only one interception on the career for him just makes it tough to see what position he will play.
Another Michigan-made Swiss army knife like Desmond Howard (except that Des didn't play defense much). Sort of like a Jack of all trades but Master of none. A lot of kids played multiple positions on offense and defense in high school (especially those who are recruited as "Athletes"), yet when they do it at the college level, sportswriters make such a big deal about it as if it's never been done it before. Peppers would be a great for a team with many needs but few draft picks.
What the crap? This guy should be pure offense. He'd be a 1st rounder with more film. Defensively, he is still a boss that can play a Rover type safety and be one of the top athletic tacklers in the NFL. He's gonna grow into a Landon Collins or Kam Chancellor role.
I can't remember what highlight video it was on youtube, but I remember arguing with Michigan fans before the college season even ends that this guy wasn't a top 10 pick. I said 20s are the highest he'll be drafted and I still say 20s.
overrated cuz his stat sheet isnt pretty? each and every game he'll make a play, whether a sack, KR TD, he'll be great and i wuldnt be mad if the packers draft him
Chris Barnes Barnes he's a safety there was never a question about that but for some reason bc most of the ppl commenting don't watch football and feel that cause he can be used for a good amount of positions that he has no position but that's not the case he's a ridiculously athletic strong safety
search brett kollmann and go to his jabrill peppers video. he'll explain to you why peppers is actually under rated. the reasons i cant remember but i remember being convinced a few weeks ago after thinking he was over rated for the longest time.
Im a buckeye fan. I hate that peppers played for scUM and I believe that OSU had a system that would better fit his versatility. But the dude is a great athlete. I underestimated his speed I always figured he ran a 4.5 40 which is okay but he runs 4.45 which is really good. The problem with peppers is that he wasnt good enough in coverage to play corner which is what UM recruited him for. So he moved to saftey and then they moved him to LB and I know it was because they could put him there and not have to substitute for nickle packages. but the thing is the dude played 3 years and recorded 1 int on a pass that went through the recievers hands (more a mistake than a good play for peppers) He is a really good athlete and there is a part of me that believes that an NFL team will find more value in him on offense than Defense. Just a thought.
Eric Collins He was moved to LB because Michigan didn't have enough speed to get to the edge on run plays and Peppers solved that. Look at Brett Kollmann video on Peppers, he shows exactly what he was ask to do in detail.
If Browns keep him at safety it will work out for them. He has amazing change of direction speed. Just seeing him read the plays in the highlights was sick. I dk how many he wiffed on though.
The Browns already caused detrimental damage to his career by drafting him he's gonna end being another great player who never wins anything at least for the first quarter of his career
Everybody said this about tyrann matheiu and looked how he panned out, one of the top safeties in the league. If you don't think they play similar then you're blind.
Robert Park by who? I do forget he did dropped down because of his Mary Jane problems which I suffer from but many scouts believed he was not a ball hawk and that his coverage skills werent complete except in press.
Not saying Honey Badger was necessarily a ball hawk, but one of Mathieu's biggest strengths was that he was a turnover machine. That was on almost every scouting report. Mathieu forced a total of 15 turnovers (11 forced fumbles, 4 INTs) while Peppers had one pick.
JustBombsProductions true... he has very good instincts and so does peppers. Now on the other hand, he does only have one pick, but that's what happens when you're kinda forced into a linebacker role.
I wouldn't necessarily say he's overrated. I'd say that he was overhyped by the media for not really doing much. He had no business getting Heisman consideration especially when Adoree' Jackson did better on three sides of the ball. With that being said, he's still an incredible athlete who can make tackles all over the field. Yeah, he doesn't really force any turnovers and needs to work on his coveraging skills, but there are plenty of strong safeties who play in the box and aren't asked to cover WRs all game.
OK... He balled against Average at best teams. And he took advantage of mistakes. You put him at one position then what? He'll be a great return man. I just don't see this production in the nfl
He's like those HS kids who come in as top recruits as an "ATH"...except he's completed college and still doesn't have a position. The raw tools are there as an in-the-box type safety/nickel LB, and his ST performance adds value, but I can't help but think he's not worth more than a late 2nd at this point. He'll never be big enough to be a full time LB. You're drafting purely on potential to be a defender. I bet he gets overdrafted in the top 20 and forced into a starting role too early.
DCJayhawk57 Come on now. Michigan put him everywhere because they needed his talent everywhere. He will play strong safety, free safety, nickel, punt and kick returns for Cleveland. They won't depend on him as much as Michigan which will let him focus on much more specific roles (strong safety and special teams). And he will be a menace in the wildcat with that much improved offensive line and the threats of Crowell and Johnson in the backfield.
And now a positive diluted drug screen. I know it sounds fake as hell but I had the same thing happen to me years ago forva work drug screen. Was summer and hard hot work for the railroad so I drank a ton of water constantly and it came back too clean.

SS. In a Cover 1 or 3, he'll be able to play close to line or scrimmage and he's great covering man to man
Connor Hein I disagree, I think he's best fit as safety.
Connor Hein I think he would fit well in a blitz heavy defense. Maybe a 3-4 SS he'd be useful in aggressive blitz packages in my opinion.
FS is better imo
Safety no doubt did you see his change of direction speed and his ability to read a play. Looks better then most safeties in the NFL to me. Browns will prob have him at QB though
