Thankyou so much for doing this...I really appreciate it...yes this band is really great with really no bad albums at all...8 in total at the moment...This singer (Damian Wilson) has been on their 1st, 3rd, 9th (from which this song is from) and 10th album...Their current singer (Glynn Morgan pictured above) has been on their 2nd, 10th and upcoming album and then their 3rd singer (Andrew "Mac" McDermott) sang on their 4th up to their 8th album but sadly passed away in 2011...all great singers in their own right and unfortunately have not had the chance to see them live but would love to one day again thanks for doing this! And thanks to you and everyone else for the birthday wishes!
Excellent pick, Joe! Threshold is one of my favorite Prog Metal bands. Their Yes meets Metallica meets AOR approach really pays off in my opinion. The musicianship from Karl & co is always on point. That being said the Mac era is overall my favorite, some of the later albums don't quite hit as hard to me. Top 5 tunes (more like just five of my favs) 1. Oceanbound - Hypothetical 2. Paradox - Wounded Land 3. Mission Profile - Subsurface 4. Choices - Critical Mass 5. Long Way Home - Hypothetical Top 5 records 1. Subsurface - 2004 2. Hypothetical - 2001 3. Wounded Land - 1993 4. Critical Mass - 2002 5. Dead Reckoning - 2007
Happy birthday Joe! The gift was given from you to us though. This was not bad at all for my taste, harmonies and synth/keys kind of feel a bit retro, but I dug it.
A belated happy birthday to Joe...hope it was a great one! 🤘💥🎂 There is a face (and other things) on Mars, and the moon IS made of cheese! In about 5 years that rover thing is going to find the secret stash of all the crackers. I thought this was a Judas Priest meets The Cars kind of thing...maybe even a little bit of an Asia feel? (And were they not affiliated with Yes, if I remember correctly??) Generally speaking, I thought it was OK but I can see it totally disturbing me if I were in a certain kind of way on a bad weather day...you know what I mean???
Happy birthday Joe :). Cheers from Sweden. This was good i cant remember i heard them before. But i know i was in a trashmetal/powermetal mindset back when this was released. Personally this reminds me of an mix between Geezer Butlers sideband (with song "Man in a suitcase") and Yngvie Malmsteen with a tiny sprinkle of something else i cant recall name of now lol.

DAMIAN THE VOICE
Happy Belated Birthday Joe. Great choice in songs. Theshold is an amazing band.
Threshold is like a big generator. The bass and drums providing the power to run it and producing electricity.
Narcissus!
Must listen!

Reminds me of Saga , remember them?
Try Arena too
Prog metal 🤘🏽🤘🏽 I love Glynn Morgan! They've had a few singers along the years. Is that a Dream Warriors shirt? Dokken I hope
