I remember a time in my life (as an atheist) when I said "I'm no sheep!"
Now I'm so thankful for my Shepherd. Never forget that we were all once enemies of God, and it's only by His grace that our eyes were opened, and by His mercy that we were forgiven. Saints, please pray for this man. Who knows, he may one day be using his boldness to proclaim the gospel.

@avitalsheva What is that supposed to mean.
It's evil to say the God of the Bible is the devil.
Those who believe this are condemned already, and the wrath of God abides on them.
Those who believe in the Son of God and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ have salvation and have passed from death to life and from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.
The Bible is a light to those who believe.
And it blinds to those who do not believe.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh to die for all mankind. It was His choice to walk amongst His creation, but the evil wicked unbelieving Christ rejecting world did not believe who He was. So they killed Him for blasphemy when He told them who He was and why He came.
He called them hypocrites a generation of vipers.
You are deceived if you believe what man says above what the word of God says.
I'm astonished at how many people reject our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, aka God.
Everything that was made was made by Him for Him for His will.
Why does that bother folks so much.
I must warn you what is coming. You can not save yourself from the wicked evil demons and fallen ones and the devil Himself.
Jesus is offering a gift of salvation for all who believe in Him.
I pray you repent of your unbelief and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ 1st CORINTHIANS 15:1-4 .
Salvation is a gift of God. EPHESIANS 2:8-9.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
I mean, is it that hard to just believe and trust Jesus.
Or you gonna trust a man.
Let God be true, and every man is a liar.
Jesus said none are good, no, not one. we all fall short of the glory of God.
      God bless you 🙏 💞 😊 👑
Time is short today is the day of salvation.

I was an atheist up until a couple of years ago. Thought much along the same line as he did. God thankfully by His grace and mercy got ahold of me and showed me I was wrong. I run into people like this quite often. Maybe not so angry but they want to argue and point fingers and fight rather than listen. In fact I was just talking to someone on facebook about something and gave him an answer after he said something about us judging others which wasn't what the post was even doing really. It was simply making a point that he disagreed with. He told me he ignored half of what I said because he doesn't care what the Bible says and proceeded to debate with me on the second half. I told him that I wasn't going to continue the conversation if he was just going to ignore what I said. He made his point that he didn't care and didn't want to hear what was being said so why would I argue with someone that already has shown me he has no desire to listen. I ended it by saying that he cannot persuade someone to hear him out when he is unwilling to hear others out and then wished him a happy new year and moved on. I think of the verse where Jesus was talking to the rich young ruler who wouldn't part with his wealth and Jesus turned and walked away. Jesus didn't chase after him and try to convince him. He made his choice. We have to pick our battles wisely. We do not have time to argue with every single person on every single topic nor do we have the energy. If someone is unwilling to listen then we should simply move on and find people who are willing.
Looking back on my atheist life I blew up on friends that tried to share Christianity with me just like this and they never talked to me about it again but yet here I am a Christian some 10 years later. God used something in my life to wake me up to the fact of how sinful I really am. It wasn't because someone preached the Gospel to me directly. They certainly did have an influence on me but I only realized that when my heart was broken and I felt empty and that I was lacking something in my life. I looked at my pagan friends and thought...maybe it was religion. They all had beliefs but I had nothing but my own self perceived wisdom. I began questioning things. I tried to ask them about their beliefs...one being a norse pagan and another a wiccan. But their beliefs all seemed silly and superficial. I remembered my great grandmother and how great of a woman she was and she was a Christian. I remembered my Great Uncle facing cancer and the end of his life. He wasn't sad...he was happy and ready to go meet God. I remember him praying to God and telling God that he was ready to come home and to forgive him for never giving up smoking...it was the one thing he just couldn't stop doing. At the time I wouldn't have thought how that might affect me later on. But it made me think that perhaps there was something to this Christianity thing. It would still take many years and me being lost in my sin but eventually it finally just clicked to me. I started reading the Bible and realizing that all the things I thought were foolish about it was just simply me not understanding and people poorly misrepresenting what Christianity is all about. My friends mom claimed to be Christian but she was so abusive and would scream at him and call us gay (we weren't...just two young high school boys doing what high school boys do...hang out and play video games and act stupid). I remember thinking that she would be a large reason that I told myself I would never be a Christian if that's what its like to be Christian...even I am not as bad as that. Which is wrong...I was bad in my own ways. I am just glad God showed me and corrected me. Sadly so many see Christians that act that way and make up their perception based off that and don't pay attention to all the Christians that follow and seek God correctly. I am blessed and fortunate to have had good examples along with the bad. A piece of wisdom to all and I am sure many already are aware of this...live your Christian life as best you can and follow God and do what is good in God's eyes....you never know who might be watching you and come to faith by your example later on.

@@thisnthat7760Why do you assume this is "falling away"? If he was truly in a cult, he didn't know God, or Christ. He was fooled and lied to, just as many others were. The only place he "fell away" from was from this centre of false teachings.
He left family and non-believers during his time. As this video shows, that's not true biblical teaching. He had a teaching on the bible, but by his words, he didn't know the one, true God.
I agree that the bible teaches a falling away must happen, but I question the idea that this must be what it is.

God is good. I opened my heart to it after years of thinking about how it all was nonsense. Laws to control the masses before governments. Fairy tales. When you actually feel the Holy Spirit though it changes you. In a horrible moment of grief I begged God for help. Begged. That very night something changed in me. I felt a deep desire to go to confession. I made a list of my sins from childhood. When I went in front of the priest and knelt. I listed my sins sobbing over the wrongs I had done. True repentance. I thank God for that priest he gave me the time I needed and when I left I sat and prayed and did my penance. The weight that was lifted off me is so unbelievable. Anyone that has experienced this will know that it’s like 300 lbs had been removed from my soul. The lightness of heart I felt was something I’ve never had in my life. I’m very grateful to my Lord and I thank him everyday for his forgiveness. Such a blessing. Love you all. Have a great weekend.

It's also ironic that those who say that are the ones who view YHWH as monstrous and fear him. Took me a long time to recognize the wicked speak against YHWH and fear him in this way because they realize they're the targets of his wrath lol. He wants to try to pain the flood, for example, as if we all need to fear it. No, he and everyone else wicked need to fear it. That's why he refers to the way he does, while those who desire the end of wickedness view it with celebration.
Ultimately, these are two different groups of beings who are not the same, don't serve the same master, and desire the end of the other. But only the wicked side tries to talk as if YHWH is against everybody.

@h2s142there is a huge difference between ancient slavery and modern slavery. In modern times, I’ll use the USA as the example. They went to Africa and had Africans raid tribes and kidnap men, women and children away from their homes to be sold in a foreign land to foreign people to work and produce while earning nothing and never to be free. In ancient or Biblical times slavery was more like indentured servants. It was usually debts that people were enslaved and had to work to pay off a debt. They were free to leave and God requires the “slave” to be given provisions to survive on and a portion of their earnings. I’m not saying it was sugar and rainbows but there was a monumental difference between ancient and modern slavery in the Bible. I hope that helps.

    • @TommyNitro

It condemns manstealing with death, both for the slaver and the one in possession of him. They were told in multiple places that they were not to be oppressive to the stranger and sojourner among them, with God reminding them how they were oppressed in Egypt. And one of the many things they are condemned for is doing just that. Yes, it allowed them to purchase slaves from the surrounding nations, but that does not preclude the complete abolition of stolen slaves. People in the ancient world went into slavery for all sorts of reasons (war, debt, inability to provide for themselves after a drought, illness, etc). @h2s142

@@andreroy8141 That's not true. The Bible speaks of those that once believed but fall away and warns us of a heart of unbelief. It's hard to comprehend or understand this if you've adopted the "once saved always saved" doctrine.

    • @andreroy8141
      @andreroy8141 2 месяца назад

@@JohnnySahn There is no falling away, unless you start denying that Christ's work on the Cross or that his work alone can't save you. That's is the whole New Testament teaching. There are too many scriptures that teaches just that. Christ knows those that are his. You have to be filled with the Spirit of Christ and Believe on his Work. Righteousness is a position.
Romans chp 10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Isreal is, that they might be saved. 2) For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3) For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4) For Christ is [THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS] to everyone that believes.
This clearly states that the LAW cannot bring about Righteousness. This is backed up by Christ's own words on the cross. When he said " It is finished". Meaning a cycle of completion. It's not about what you wear nor how you dress. Nor what you eat. It's about LOVE! Romans chp 12 verse 2) And be not conformed to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Then again in Romans chp 14 verse 17) For the Kingdom of God is not food or drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
So there is nothing you can do, or wear, or not do to bring about your acceptance to God except non-belief in Yeshua/Jesus.
In 1 Corinthians chp 6 verse 11 & 12 this is backed up by stating that [Righteousness] is a position. A standing by your acceptance of the Name of Christ alone. So as to any covering of your HEAD. You are now covered by position in Christ. This is backed up in Ephesians chp 4 verses 14 and 15. In verse 15) But, speaking the truth in LOVE, may you grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ.
Christ is your covering. In Philippines chp 3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Again this is stated in Colossians 2nd chp verse 11) In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. Then in verse 16) Let no man, therefore, judge you in food, or drink, or in respect of a feast day, or of a new moon, or of a SABBATH Day. Verse 17 calls those things a SHADOW, because they should be behind you. Reading down to verse 22 and 23. This is further backed up by Paul in him calling them ordinances. He calls it "Will-Worship".
Now anyone denying the Gospel or preaching another gospel. Has to answer to God. So someone can fall away, but it's because they don't believe or never really did. That's way Paul said it's impossible for someone who once believed to restore them. Because they never really believed in the first place.

Who feels like we need more information?! I began to pray and then found several questions popping up. One, how do we know he was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit to begin with? Many people enter the church and become pastors but never had a salvation experience. The absence of the Holy Spirit might be what is precipitating doubt. But if he did have the Holy Spirit and is falling away, this would engender a different type of prayer as I would say he seems to be entering the realm of rejecting (blaspheming) the Holy Spirit. And I'm very curious as to this process happening with pastors who have been operating actively within churches for decades, such as Joshua Harris! I'm thinking, But at this point and with this level of dedication, why would you throw away your personal relationship with God and the community of Christ followers?! There is literally nothing but death and hell apart from God. How does this happen? Please respond, people of God.

@@thisnthat7760 to push back a little bit. “The falling away” can be a result of bad teaching. A bad understanding of the biblical account. I do believe the reason for people “falling away” is because they either (A)don’t have a good foundation or (B) under bad teaching, which would fall back to “A”. The foundation of their beliefs are weak. I don’t believe that a truly strong faithful believer under good teaching and understanding of their Bible will fall away. I personally don’t think they can. This is why there is such a strong word for those who teach to be careful, to be called and to be biblically sound. Being somewhat accountable for those souls whom you are shepherding is a massive privilege that comes with a weighty burden to be grounded in the Word.
I don’t know why this guy is going through what he is going through but I pray that God continues to tug on his heart and open his eyes. The whispers of the world to follow, to be apart of it , the lies, the twisting of Gods word can get overwhelming specially when life takes turns you weren’t expecting. Also, New Atheists claim there is no God, yet here they are, also attacking Christians by saying "God's not real. If He was, He's evil," that's intellectual dishonesty. This is doesn't happen overnight. This happens when you've been isolated from your brothers and wise counsel in the body of Christ. Iron sharpens iron, but left alone long enough it will fall apart from rust and corrosion. His anger and sadness are from realizing the devastation that sin has put on this world. In a way he's actually having Christ-like righteous anger at this fallen world, but he's misidentifying it and incorrectly attributing the responsibility to God. He needs love, prayer, and wise counsel. God can turn his trial and tribulation into His Glory. This man is in the fire right now and we're witnessing him burn. Let's pray he comes out purified gold.
