- Flamings on a private island in the Caribbean, or to be more specific on renaissance island in Aruba. This awesome little island is a 10 minute boat ride from downtown, and is a place you could easily spend all day. With an adult side and family side both with a beach, this island is a great place to check out for anyone visiting Aruba. You can see iguanas, pelicans, crabs, fish and of course flamingos. This was one of my favorite places to go on Aruba and would definitely go back!

Flamingos are my new favorite animal I don't care.. I'm having a sweet 16 of them I'm decorating my room with them I'm getting clothes with them I'm even getting one as a pet and nobody can tell me no.
Due to the entire procedure of clipping their wings, flamingos cannot maintain their natural rhythm of life. They cannot migrate according to their true nature. They are kept here by force, but in such a way that it does not look bad and gives the impression of an idyllic life on a tropical island. People are beasts !

We like being in Oranjestad so we stay at the Marriott. And the island is fun, we go there as well as some of the other beaches you reviewed. If it's windy or choppy you can get a bit wet on the ride to and from the island so if you have a camera be careful! We like the adult side lagoon and out past the rocks on the right end of the jetty there is a ship wreck about 40-50 feet out. If the waves and swells aren't too bad you can swim out and explore it. A lot of the snorkeling excursions go there. Just be careful if the swells are up or you might get bounced on the old hull of the wreck.

bam172010 we went on a cool UTV ride and we went to 4 places my favorite was the natural pool we went down mountains and very rocky sand it was fun I would highly recommend it

They are strictly on the adult side but its ok to go over the bridge and take a look at the birds, many families came over for a quick photo its fine! Enjoy the day with the family. :)

It's better to go to Renaissance hotel to buy the ticket they have a boat every 15 to 30 minutes. Have a good day!
