I’m an AZ girl & I LOVE both the Salties and the Alpines so much!! I’m hoping to visit the Salties at some point and soon I’ll be heading to meet a friends herd at her nonprofit Sunshine ☀️ animal sanctuary,which includes 2 rescued Alpines from the Apache-Sitegreves forest. The Alpines especially have been through so much hell being rounded up sold at auction (some of whom only ended up in worse conditions after being pulled from the auction by “rescues” only in it for the money and many others being shot in the forest 2 years ago. These horses are so special a part of our history and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect
