THANK YOU A LOOOOOOOOOOT, you can't imagine how this helped me, I've to submit my research ASAP and this my first time writing in LaTeX! Thanks again. I'll try that now!
Great contribution Mashesh, it is short and very detailed one. I have a question regarding the template though. Suppose I used the same IEEE template for my draft, but I want to change the template before submission, should I change the Preamble only?
Cant we use .bib file for the purpose of bibliography and select bibliography style as ieeetr? or do we have to include all the references as bib item?
Nice tutorial. I have one doubt though. Everyone it is mentioned that page layout is either USLetter or A4 paper. I followed every step as in your video. Am confused about the margin spacing. Does the pdf created by Latex produces the document with right margins for ieee???
really good! thanks! but i am facing a problem. when I open bare_conf file with texmaker then the 3 rd right section i can't see, on the top column, its written that "read only" when i edit anything in the 2nd section and click on run command, then an error pops up
hola como puedo hacer para que un documento en latex que tiene ecuaciones y textos quede todo en negritas sin tener que ir párrafo por párrafo y ecuacion por ecuacion colocando \textbf y \mathbf

Sir,please tell me what i have to do.. am having an error - could not start the command. pdflatex-synctex=1-interaction=nonstopnmode%.tech. please help .. will be eagerly waiting for your reply.. thank you sir..
Dear Sir, When starting Quick built I have the error msg. Error : could not start the command : pdflatex -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode "bare_adv".tex)) I need quick help thank you for your time
Thanks! But this is cumbersome I dont see the real need ...Why not use Word 2013 or 206 if you can afford them. It's way quicker to edit the Word template and share the result quickly with colleagues for comments etc.
Jeremy PeanutButter It all depends on your need... the reason what you have mentioned is a genuine one, where you want a quick editing of your work. But, the quality of the output file the latex produces can never be achieved using word. And one of the greatest advantage I feel is that when you want to change the format from one journal to the other or any such case latex can do that with few changes in commands, but in word it will take a lot of effort. There are many more reasons, can be found only when you really start using it.
Ok I get you...I haven't used LaTex deeply, but with some extra Youtubing I think it is also hard to edit the code-like LaTex especially for Tables compared to Word. The new Word 16 has got good output, I bet a slight difference can be seen if Latex and Word created documents are compared....we can do it if you have time! The major disadvantage of LaTex which is normally overlooked is that it inhibits normal sharing/collaboration on documents especially for commenting etc. Remember you leave in a world were most people (colleagues/others in different orgs.) work with MS Word as the standard --- which makes running in between Latex to Word another somewhat big task.
Yup, completely agreed with your comment, both have their advantages and drawbacks. If you are only concerned about regular documents, the word will have better advantages like simplicity, easy sharing and all. But, when you write technical documents, such as papers, thesis, and books, there certainly Latex can do a better job when compared to the word (Like equations and bibliography etc.).
Yes true! But DOCUMENT SHARING (am not shouting, lol) is the core of everything! If you don't share easily then, you limit your potential in any form of writing....The time and effort you use in LaTex trying to figure out formatting for complex tables and unpopular templates is significantly cutdown by Word -- plus for thesis work which you said LaTex is good at, I think Word is better (esp. 2016). You quickly get comments and you can share your work for easy feedback. How would you do that with Latex? Just to conclude my opinion, I think if you don't have pages upon pages of Equations is better to use MS WOrd 2013/16; Latex is strong there!

Thank you for your helpful video, But I wonder if there is a way to include visio diagrams in a latex constructed paper
You can include them by saving the diagram as PDF or JPG
Nice tutorial. I have one doubt though. Everyone it is mentioned that page layout is either USLetter or A4 paper. I followed every step as in your video. Am confused about the margin spacing. Does the pdf created by Latex produces the document with right margins for ieee???
Yeah.. The margins are as per IEEE standard only, the template itself has been provided by the IEEE only.
Thanks bro, your contribution is highly appreciated!.
Thank you :) Best tutorial to learn latex :)
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial
Which Software are you using?
What is the difference IEEE format and ACM SIGS style.
