Hi Angela, could you use sew-in foam instead of fusible fleece or would it create too much bulk? Love this pattern! Greetings from Victoria, BC, Canada 🇨🇦
Hi Maureen! Yes you can use lightweight foam. It may the case a bit smaller but should be ok as long as you don't have really big thick glasses. Thanks for watching😊
Do you have a video for a single glasses case?
Yes I have a few styles This is the closest to this style. You can leave out the elastic. ruclips.net/video/wOZbcl3q58E/видео.html
@NotchesSewing yay! Thank you so much!!
Would it be fair to say that the stitching of the sides of the opening for closing later with the top stitch is a method that can be used as a standard when the seam allowance is kept after clipping for all items that require closing once turned inside out? New to sewing so hoping to understand regarding these techniques? Not clear why it's done in some cases and not others.
It really depends on the design. I always try to save steps by closing the opening if there is going to be topstitching. You wouldn't want just a short line of topstitching. Ideally, an opening should never be obvious.
Love the pattern but there was no free pattern. I watch pretty much all your videos. I have been sewing 1958. I was 9 years when I started. We had to be responsible back then. By the time I was 10 years, I was making my clothes. I have made some off the wall things in my life, but they always served their purpose. Canopies, car seat covers, headliners for cars, doll clothes to sell for fabric, my kid's clothes, men's suits, shirts, vests and ties, wedding gowns, brides maid dresses, flower girl dresses, wallets from leather, handbags, my clothes and sew on. It's amazing how you can do that for so long and then see one of your videos and find new ways of doing things. I bought the Juki Haruka this past summer. I love it better than my more expensive machines. Between that machine and the one I still have as a graduation present, I could probably sell the others even though I do use them all. Thanks for all your wonderful tips and tricks. I find them to be quite handy. I am watching from all 4 seasons in one day Ohio.
Thanks so much for watching Kathy. Wow you’ve done a lot in your sewing life. I have done very similar. Great to hear you love your Juki! (it’s hard to let go of other machines…..)😊
@@NotchesSewing I have 11 machines total. Quilting types, embroidery, industrial, the Haruka, one for felting, my graduation machine, my grandma's machine, a serger and even an old treadle. I, believe it or not use all of them during the process of the stuff I do. My favorites are the Haruka and my old Kenmore. The Kenmore still works great. I have had it since 1967 and have taken really good care of it. As for you young person, you are a genius. You come up with some very awesome ideas and I find them quite useful. Keep them coming. I for one greatly appreciate them. You know the thing, "old dogs, new tricks." Take care now.

@@NotchesSewing The PDF link (in the drop down section of the video description) takes you to a RUclips "Products" page list - where it is not included. The link you just provided, here in the comments, takes you to the PDF (on your website?). In case this helps you troubleshoot the original link. (Posted at 10:33am Pacific Time)
This is a really great sewing idea. I have 2 pairs of glasses I carry in my purse and this would be much more convenient. I am watching you from Arkansas US. Thanks for sharing.
