I think out biggest concern is the o-line... Darnold has been doing great because of his athleticism is good enough to extend plays and actually scramble out of bad situations. But just think if he had just A LITTLE more time to digest the situation how dangerous he would be and than how much it would help the run game as well. Thats my take. I think our secondary is good enough to compete and yeah it does need some help but I think o-line would be a huge step up in my book.

I remember Darnold playing at Carolina some years back and I was surprised how confident, consistent, and good he was as a quarterback. He appeared after Cam Newton faded away due to injuries he suffered from open field running. Back to back great quarterbacks Carolina had in those past years. Cam got the Panthers to the Superbowl and Darnold could very well propel the vikings to a Superbowl, too, Somewhat unusual to have two great quarterbacks together and lose both of them. Needless to say the Panthers are struggling this season, but better days could be in the future. Anyway the Vikings got the arsenal for a super bowl win.
Without a doubt our O-line is our biggest weakness. We have been plugging in players and moving guys around, just to field a competitive group. I looked at available free agents, and none would be an upgrade. I’d inquire with teams that have been eliminated from playoff contention, and see if we can just upgrade. A team where dreams become true. My biggest concern for minnesota is the defense starting off. Like the defense has to get warm and we have been having this issue all year with it being the most inconsistent thing. One game they start and finish amazing another they start shit and finish amazing. Overall the vikes are the best team in the nfl. The reason they arent the best is because of Sam Darnold’s past and people are blindsided from what they are truly capable of. Its okay though let us run under the radar as we are going to swoop up and go to the super bowl and win because the only threat to the vikes in my opinion is the bills. Vikes vs Bills superbowl would have me on my heels. Just my take though.

We made bro a superstar. Just like we made Cousins make NFL history when we had him. Vikings got something special to make quarterbacks their best. Darnold always had that incredible potential in him so I'm not trying to detract from him but we had to have something to bring that out

If the vikings re-sign darnold, they sign with him again for the next few years. If they resign darnold, they fire him
I think Taki Taimani adds a lot to the run defense. I haven't heard anything on his return from IR from an ankle injury. Would like to see him getting some snaps.
I personally think we’re building massive trade value for Sam darnold. Maybe not first week or off season but by trade deadline and getting some of what we’re missing at week 8 next year in exchange

as I said on X, haters are gonna hate. Sam is the real deal, KOC has proven that. He is in the right situation. As much as I do love the idea of JJ McCarthy, the way Darnold and the team are playing? I'd pay Darnold and trade JJ for draft capital. Not an over-reaction, but realistic -- if the Vikings were 8-5 or even 9-4 and exceeding expectations but looking like a 1 and done in the playoffs, I'd think different. But this team is clicking, the offense is rolling, and we look like we could ruin a lot of teams in the playoffs. Keep Darnold in purple and gold. And the best part is he's only 27, he's not 35 and on the final years of his playing life. Keep SD in purple and gold, and we will be a juggernaut for years to come.
Run defense needs to shore up some...a team rushes for 150 yards in a playoff game is almost certain defeat unless our offense is clicking like it was against FALCONS

10 sacks in 3 games is minimal, this is the NFL most teams give up 5 sacks a game
