whoever has the paperwork to the registered name of The World Famous Valley Boys is in the best position for court.. the other party will have to stand down or rename their group because its illegal for both to have the name when its competition time.
This is The Valley Boys and the majority of the group. The Way Forward is simply a committee formed by members of the group to steer it in the right direction as former leadership has not been doing so and did not care to amongst other disturbing missteps made. No one broke away from The Valley Boys membership.

Doesn't work like that. They would have to choose another name to register as an NPO. Don't get caught on the nail board when the hammer comes down.

The “1958 Valley Boys” never in their 66 years followed the proper channels and registered as an NPO as the government regulations required. Way Forward Committee (of the valley) decided to rectify that last year and gain an NPO registration for the Valley Boys for the first time ever.
