2250 has little extra features at the cost of 800-1000 more like one extra stitches design, 100 spm more, button hole type mentioned 4 for it but I not sure. But still 1409 tops 1 with every month sale of ~700 while 2250 is at no. 5 with sale of ~ 200-250 per month. I was also confused but ordered 1409. Hopping I will enjoy working with it.
