I have had this for Switch for about 3 years, now. I have owned it, yet not played it. I have the Japanese import. Tonight, I decided to begin playing it. So far, I am loving it. It’s very retro RPG and it’s so beautiful. The music is very melancholy. This is so nice. Perhaps I’ll review it, myself, once I’m done with it.

Solid review man. I picked up a physical copy for switch. I'm loving it so far.
Both PAL versions (Europe and Japanes) have 100% English Subtitle and Menue option if you want it in the US... grab the physical copy on Ebay!
This game is great. Gorgeous art and a really excellent story.
I would like to get it but "the dog dies at the end" kills me. So I don't think I can play this. Can anyone help on this..?
On the topic of the French language glitch... I just received an update on ps4 that fixes it. I'd assume the switch version got an update too

It plays more like Chrono Trigger than FF6, but if you enjoy those SNES-era Square games, you'll probably enjoy I am Setsuna
