aw you have a NUFFNUFF painting! awesome collection of new stuff for your walls! Art trades are my favourite!! Art trades are great. also great is trading art for services... plumbers, electricians, and other needed services 😂😂😂 I also trade a lot of baked goods for things. Trading is the way to go!
Your booth looked wonderful,i felt like taking all of them😅. Thank you for always taking around the fair. I really appreciate how you make videos and show us ,who don't get to see fairs like this at all. ❤
I love filling my space with the work of friends and when I look at it, it’s a nice memory of the time we spent together :) See you next week, darling! Have a beautiful weekend!
I LOVE Duncan’s artwork - so talented and he’s a good soul. The art fair is a fun event and each one is different depending on who is around you. I’ve been lucky to make many art friends because of it :)
Your booth setup was beautiful the way it was laid out. I’m loving the color combos in your art. I’m sorry the art fair turned out to be a little slow, but thank you for sharing it with us.❤
Thank you for the kind words and taking time to watch :) It happens - there’s an overall slow in the market so it can’t be helped. I’m always happy to share my work with whoever comes by regardless!
Thank you for video enjoyed watching your art fair process, i really like your small three art pieces you created at beginning of video, plus the large art pieces were lovely i like how your booth also was situated. I think art fairs could be slower due to heat or elections coming up people might be donating money toward their perfered political party. Thank you again for showing your art fair items you bartered and traded for they were really lovely..💙🖊🖌🎨
Thank you for watching :) Ends out there is a slow in the market and as you mentioned, there is always a variety of reasons out of the artist’s control. I just keep showing up and sharing my work with whoever is there in person. Then as well with my friends here online :) I’m working on some more smaller works in the same format right now! It’s been fun! See ya next Friday for my next video, darling!
I’ve had 2 fairs out of the 11 I’ve done that I didn’t break even. This was one of those, but there’s a slow in the art market at the moment. As you say, there’s other benefits like marketing so I’m not mad about it.
@@FionaCArt I've also been using artfairs to network like crazy with other artists, and to then give each other a boost on each other's socials. Which I think is also a super important thing to do, similar to you sharing the handles of those who traded with you.

That 3d art of the woman is gorgeous. Such a unique piece. The art fair looks like such an amazing event for both the artists and attendees.

Does TOAF pencil out for you financially or does it work as a marketing opportunity? I showed with them in Los Angeles and didn't break even.

Wow, I'm shocked anyone sold anything. I never knew fairs existed strictly for abstract. Just goes to show ya, there's something for everyone.
You should check out more fairs :) there’s definitely work out there for everyone!
How rude.
@@michellem3899 how exactly is that ride? It was a compliment. Since when are compliments rude? You ppl need to grow up.
@@FionaCArt exactly. I think it's great
