On that T-Wave turn, i wouldve probably went for Crunch and not risk missing Scale Shot, and either avoid a Paralysis, or avoid even a flamethrower or something, i always fear ‘Pult cuz of its versatility in battle
Dragapult Really earned his place with how well versed he is. Love the idea, the design, the varying builds it can go with… he’s one of the first shinies I caught in SWSH and named him Jetfire. He and Noivern are my go-to dragons
I saw you used that Hydreigon many times with those movesets as it's like your unique pokemon that can switch from special to physical attacker. Got me super interested cuz of your Hydreigon. ❤❤❤

I feel like you may have already run this, but a physical Alomomola (either choice band or some other tricky berry/rain/loaded dice set up) goes pretty hard and catches a lot of people off guard. Bulky enough to take a few hits, moves like Liquidation, Play Rough, Flip Turn, Aqua Jet, Scale Shot, Zen Headbutt, Acrobatics for coverage and utility, Regenerator to heal, and the fact that it's pretty much universally assumed to be a protect wish support tank. One-shotting a dragon dancing Roaring Moon with an alomomola is pretty great. Give it a try if you'd like!
Oh man that Thumbnail be shiny and glistening like it's been dipped in butter! Ain't ever seen Hydreigon look so good! Let's see whatchu got! PS I like a good mixed attacking Hydreigon! That 105 Atk is decent for all that coverage! PPS Abomasnow! F yes! Like seeing this guy on one of your teams! Suhweet! Does Avalugg learn Roar? That might be good for those set up mons. I used to use Golem w Sturdy, Custap and Roar, but the Roar helped to deal w set up. Explosion for all else fails x D you know!
One you should try is a belch hydra. Sub + nasty plot, dark pulse, belch, salac berry. Ideally there’s no priority mons left but it sets up on many fairies for free as you draw them in by Tera poison. Then you sub or plot until you reach your salac and sweep. Kingambit must be dealt with as well.
Ahhh. It’s good to see him back. In the sun and moon days when fairies dominated the meta I would always get a kick out of sending in a hydreigon, due to him being under used at the time people would forget that he had flash canon and I would make sure they knew I was choiced, use flash canon to ohko any fairy not named xerneas, and try to bait a steel type in which magnezone with hp fire was chilling in the back Should I get back into ranked for S/V. The reason I quit was I got really annoyed at people spamming the same team of primal kyogre and Xerneas

I think what gives the special one the edge is not just the higher special attack but also access to Flash Cannon, so you don't need to Tera just to have something against Fairy Types and not just a neutral Earthquake. Maybe they'll give it Iron Head or something in the future, that would be great
This is true but also the physical one isn’t a bad option now because of dragon dance If hydreigon got nasty plot, heck even calm mind it would be even better than it already is
I used a similar set once but instead of Scale Shot I had Draco Meteor. Also catches people off guard when you start using Dragon Dance after a Draco or you start attacking physically haha
Been messing with gliscor max speed/hp but might switch it up to add more sp def, fling acrobatics facade swords dance, tera normal, of course poison heal/toxic orb. It’s a bit of setting up sometimes but really fun payoff
I would love to see what you can do with Swalot, it has an interesting movepool and i think there are a few things you could try, i want to see you try it as a sweeper
I have been thinking about a mixed Hydreigon with DD but truthfully I didn’t play test or breed for one. I was thinking about the DD just for speed and a coverage move rather than the focus. Maybe a physically based mixed attacker with Draco Meteor.
