he still says things that are hilarious but after 40 or whatever years in comedy hes obviously not going to be quite as good, but its impressive that hes still as funny as he is
Jeez....if they would have turned this into a sold game show, you gotta switch up the teams (3 normal contestants w/ 2 celebs). Here, it seems like just a party w/ 5 celebs who can't find work. I feel bad for the real contestants because they are the ones who want to play the game for the money, but it's these damn celebrities who have a little too much fun, hog up camera time, and complain about the questions by re-guessing everytime. A total waste of time, and no need for real contestants.
If this pilot had made it to air, it should display the number of answers wrong and the placing number will display at the end of the game representing of their intelectual ability instead of the fight by Joyce that wants to take the dummy spot.
Michael mckean was frickin handsome holy crap!
Letterman being Letterman right out of the box. And McKean took to it too: "Get off my back(5:02)!"
Its pretty amazing how witty Letterman is
Pretty good show, I watched the whole thing. I liked Davids hosting style.
Letterman was always quick.
I liked the show a lot! And Letterman? ... Better in this setting than his show, IMHO.
This is actually not bad.
Thought this was great, considering some of the other unsold pilots. Mrs. Milton Berle? Really? How inside is that?
Wasn't the closing theme recycled for TV's Funniest Game Show Moments?
Am I the only one who thinks the Moses joke was clearly anti-semitic? I'm sure that looking back, Dave might agree.

Lucky thing for Dave this was not picked up. Looks way unhappier here than he usually does, and that's pretty unhappy.

True, but that's what would make people watch it.

umm... she spells it Jo-anne Worley...
Joyce was fighting over the first spot that's not how they arrange into intellectual ability.
Great analasys. I think he always had a tinge of cynicism. It overtook him as his ego and success grew. The guy is now dead inside.
