I have had the pleasure of meeting Brent and Barry and the band multiple times just great guys down to earth humble people. Have you checked out the stuff Brent did with Dreve his 1st band? The songs are on RUclips ,Shinedown did do Dirthouse which was Dreve.
I went to a concert in NY a couple of years ago where Shinedown was the opening band. I had heard of the band before going to the show, but I could not name any of their songs. They put on a great show and won my friend and I over. I am now a fan.
One of my favorite bands, you should check out their version of Simple Man since you did the original. There's a pretty big debate over which version is better. Monster is a great song, and so is Sound of Madness.

Brent gave all the royalties to Judy Van Zandt because she gave him a place to live for about a year rent free and he said he would pay her back and he did.

Shinedown is my favorite band. Brent Smith singer has one of the best vocals in rock. Billboard Named best mainstream rock band in the last decade. Hold the record for the most number one hitsl Suggest 45, Call me, 2nd Chance etc. Do their cover of Simple Man o❤💯✊
Call Me prob my fave from them; that whole album was perfection imo. Hope they get on Saliva as well, a band that is forgotten and, for me, gives me that same type heavy flow as Shinedown does.

Or Something heavy: Addicted to Pain or Isolation Something emotional: In Loving Memory live at Amsterdam PS: keep going with Shinedown they are great! One song youll get hard rock and the next youll get pop rock. Great voice!
