I feel if there were more repercussions for rude behavior online fewer people would be that way. You seem like too much of a genuinely nice human to have to put up with that.

Scar tells us that the maple syrup in those pancakes was harvested by hand by Etho from real Canadian maples 😂 Really enjoying your runs, I just like seeing how all the different hermits approach things xx

Yeah it was strange. Where were all the ravagers that torment all the other hermits on level 2?? He even evaded Willie without even trying. There was also a weird lack of ravagers on his first level 1 run on the previous episode.

xB going medium difficulty straight on his second run is really interesting though unlucky for being sent to level 2. But will also make some other hermits rage due to how many keys he got with the starting deck + the amount of keys he got in Level 2. Some have big treasure deck and can't pass the kneeling man! 18:50 is this when he realized he should have also been looking at the compass?
Your runs were so great! So glad you got distracted by the ravager to get caught in the water trap. Shhh you didn't hear that from me. I love how your cubby hole/vault turned out! The Train cart! Yay! You are doing awesome on your runs. You gained a lot of map knowledge and that is great! You were doing so many of the parkour jumps that you may or may not have needed to do but you were learning the map for future runs. That's not to bad.
this was such an interesting but strange run!!! as a person who have watched all the hermits Gradually over like 10-20 runs switchung to harder levels and knowing all the bits and tricks - watxhing xb was stressful, but on the other hand it was AMAZING lol!!! such luck, such skill, it should not have worked but xb almost got to black mines if he wanted to, it's so silly how insane that run is. This was fun! I don't think Tango's rules video makes it clear, but the levels of the game and the floors of the game aren't the same! The compass you get is labeled "Level 1 Artifact" or "Level 2 Artifact" etc. Easy level will get you to floor 1 (which has an up and down section to it, just to make things more complicated!). Medium level will get you to floor 1 or floor 2. (50/50 chance), generally the farther back in floor 1 and the front parts of floor 2. You need a key to go down to floor 2, as you clearly know. (And keys are dispensed with treasure, so treasure seeker will increase your chances of getting keys to go down to the next level). Apparently the hard level will give you level 2 or level 3 artifacts, but it isn't 50/50 live the medium level. I think it was 80/20 maybe, with level 2 much more likely. Another important thing is that treasure/coins etc. will dispense on the floor you are on only. When you put in a key, the game automatically starts dispensing treasure on the floor below. And then when you push the button to open the door to come back up, the game automatically starts dispensing keys on the floor you are going back up to. But only a little treasure is automatically dispensed. More cards for it is the best way to get more treasure! Also most Hermits (and Tango too when he plays on his stream) seem to be staying on easy level until they have acquired 5-10 permanent cards.
So nice seeing someone play Decked out blind. Best first 2nd level run I’ve seen. Might have an Xb/Etho face off again. I liked the music. Took a moment to realise what it was, then I realised... it’s Minecraft. Gosh, if everyone acted on the comment’s advice or instructions for Decked Out, it’d be tedious watching.

I'd really love to see you use up all your shards in future weeks / get addicted to Decked Out, but feel no pressure to do so if it isn't something that engages / intrests you. I enjoy all the interactions and shenanigans in the Decked Out entrance way too, it was fun to see some of that in this video.
Hey xB, love the episode! You had so much luck on that run, most people never saw the places you did. You were great there! Please, don't pay attention to these annoying people; sometimes, I think they have nothing better to do than complain about things, I don't know... Here's a tip that most people probably already know: always check the compass for the artifact level number. The easy level will always send you to races on the first floor. The medium level has (I believe) a 50% chance of getting an artifact from either floor 1 or 2. The hard levels will always send you to floor 2 with a small percentage chance of sending you to floor 3. Love your room btw ;)
I love that you just go with the flow. "So here I'm doing a... Oh a Mumbo in the wild!". Then having Cub and Hypno talking jazz in the background while you finish explaining your train car build. Your vids make me feel like I'm there with you. It feels real! Most hermits are a small window into the world. But your vids are a complete immersion into it. So good! Always so much fun!
An "Ethereal Permanent" card is a one time card used right at the beginning of your run. It's useful when you want to start off with a little help. Also, if you want to play music in the dungeon, go for it. You're the one playing, play what ever way makes you comfortable.
I don't know how you got that far into the dungeon with just 3 cards. I think you're ready for level Hard! ☺ I also loved the uncut experience inbetween runs and how you decorated your area/cube/don't know what to call it lol
I do like how you sneak almost everywhere. It does make the hazard go up more, but A) it makes clank build slower, B) it makes you more cautious, and C) it lets you take in the dungeon more instead of tunnel visioning and sprinting
30:16 A permanent card is one that immediately activates when you enter the game, by either giving a permanent effect for the entire run, or something in the beginning of the run (not permanent cards are played at random during the run). A Permanent Ethereal card is played immediately in the beginning of the run, but is only used once.
Honestly, make your environment and your comment section to be safe and enjoyable for you. Some people get worked up over the dumbest crap. Love the zero patience, zero tolerance for rudeness.
Man, I am so impressed at how much of Level 2 you managed to explore with your deck on your second run ever. It was further than anyone else, and you gained a huge amount of map knowledge from it.

I suggest only buying Moment of Clarity if you have extra Embers, because you don't improve your deck in the long run if you don't get the other cards.
I’ve noticed a rise in negative comments since the hermits have been having a blast with decked out. People need to chill. I’ve seen hermits being accused of cheating and there is no need for it. Another great video xb
I like that you put a door in your alcove, making it feel like a home. If I could build a spot in an alcove, I'd try to make it look like the interior of a vanilla villager Minecraft house, but with two levels. The second floor (first floor for Europeans) I would ask Tango if I could have a window looking out into the lobby and another window just looking at the maze that is Decked Out 2. I'd also like to have a farmer villager on the ground floor for golden carrots and possibly a secret way to get _below_ the room for a zen spot or secret access into Tango's area (and let Tango know he could use that for fun and giggles). I had not realized you hadn't done runs and was a surprised by that as you were about the second floor! Thanks for the video!
13:15 Not only in Starfield, "Ctrl to crouch/sneak" and "Shift to run/sprint" are de facto keybinds for 99.5% PC games if there is a crouch or sprint mechanic exist. Minecraft, somehow is different than any other game, I don't know why but I always thought the Notch had not have PC gaming experience in FPS and TPS games prior to Minecraft where we mostly come across with both crouch and sprint mechanics all the time. In very old games, sometimes it was "C to crouch" if it was not "Ctrl" but it didn't become a common theme because crouch-jumping would be a huge pain with "C to crouch" . And if we see "C to crouch" keybind in any game, we can guess crouch-jumping isn't a thing in that game.
Just to clarify something, the difficulty does not guarantee that you have to go to a certain level, you have to look at the compass you got. Easy -> Always level 1. Medium -> 50% chance of deep level 1 and 50% level 2. Hard -> 87.5% level 2 and 12.5% chance begging of level 3. Deadly -> Level 3 (in the future there will be a chance of level 4) Deep Frost -> Locked (in the future, always level 4)

love the vid xB!! such a wild second ever run, going all the way down to level 2 *and* surviving down there for so long. just in case you dont know, it can be beneficial to hold off on collecting the artifact even if you find where it is, cus the clank/hazard increases as soon as you pick it up. so you could find where it is, explore and get more treasure and get a better feel for the map, and then go collect and immediately book it out. have a good one man!
Great train car! I love the sniper duel with Hypno, afterwards it almost looked like the car was on fire with the arrows left behind, lol! I guess a Hermitcraft solution for vanilla music disc range could be to get a recording of a song and apply it to its own disc?
You got to see so much of Level 2 on your run-nice work! You might want a few more cards in your deck before you consistently run level 2. Treasure hunter (higher chance to drop key) along with Sneak and Stability will increase the time you can spend in the dungeon. Itty bitty favor- can you say “hello” in your fantastic way at least once in every video! It always makes me smile!
I love watching the Hermits make DO runs. Also, it makes me sad that there is a group of ppl who are jerks about it. Whether backseat gaming, calling ppl cheaters, or talking down to ppl because they don't know the game as well as viewers who have watched 100s of hours of construction... it sucks. And trash like that makes the Hermits want to give us less DO content, not more. If we want more DO content (I DOOOO!), then we can cheer for and encourage the Hermits when they run. We're all having fun.

Amazing run into level 2 with only two cards!!! You will want to build up your deck with more cards so you can (1) survive in the dungeon longer and (2) get more treasure. How you balance that depends on how you want to play the game. Once you learn the maps and get some more artifacts to get more cards you'll be unstoppable!
I think you should start your question game while everyone is waiting for their turn at Decked Out. Everyone is there already and would probably be more fun then sticking yourself in walls.
Mumbo was mistaken about that ember seeker card….it gives chances for embers to be dispensed in the dungeon, same as treasure. **** Medium difficulty is supposed to be 50/50 chance for deep level 1 or early level 2 artifact…. you were just slightly unlucky to get level 2 artifact on your very second run. You did get some excellent knowledge, though. 👍 ***** Most people spent their first six runs on easy, building up their decks.

nice one xb, also there seems to be a misunderstanding about the +X embers cards. I recall tango explained to Etho in a video: the +x embers are adding odds to the treasure drop chances that you get an ember instead of a coin/crown/key. but you definitely do not get +X at the returning of the artifact, you have to loot what "toot"ed. hope it'll help you out :)
You have a lot of shards btw, could probably swindle a few people ahead of you out of their common cards for some of your shards.. your dungeon exploration sense is A+ 🎉

You can always rekey ctrl to be sneak, if it causes you too much trouble. That's what I did when I started playing minecraft, because the game I played before had it that way, so now it seems strange to have it any other way.

A permanent card is one that immediately activates when you enter the game, by either giving a permanent effect for the entire run, or something in the beginning of the run (not permanent cards are played at random during the run).
A Permanent Ethereal card is played immediately in the beginning of the run, but is only used once.
Honestly, make your environment and your comment section to be safe and enjoyable for you. Some people get worked up over the dumbest crap. Love the zero patience, zero tolerance for rudeness.
Man, I am so impressed at how much of Level 2 you managed to explore with your deck on your second run ever. It was further than anyone else, and you gained a huge amount of map knowledge from it.

getting so far around level 2 with basically a beginner deck is super impressive tbh, sucks that the ravager was right on your tail at the end!
NGL, I would be giggling the whole time if you just blasted the music during a run to spite those commenters.
I suggest only buying Moment of Clarity if you have extra Embers, because you don't improve your deck in the long run if you don't get the other cards.

I've seen a lot of Hermits and this is the first time I've seen the entrance to the black mines. You explored so much on lvl 2

I’ve noticed a rise in negative comments since the hermits have been having a blast with decked out. People need to chill. I’ve seen hermits being accused of cheating and there is no need for it. Another great video xb
I like that you put a door in your alcove, making it feel like a home. If I could build a spot in an alcove, I'd try to make it look like the interior of a vanilla villager Minecraft house, but with two levels. The second floor (first floor for Europeans) I would ask Tango if I could have a window looking out into the lobby and another window just looking at the maze that is Decked Out 2. I'd also like to have a farmer villager on the ground floor for golden carrots and possibly a secret way to get _below_ the room for a zen spot or secret access into Tango's area (and let Tango know he could use that for fun and giggles). I had not realized you hadn't done runs and was a surprised by that as you were about the second floor!

13:15 Not only in Starfield, "Ctrl to crouch/sneak" and "Shift to run/sprint" are de facto keybinds for 99.5% PC games if there is a crouch or sprint mechanic exist. Minecraft, somehow is different than any other game, I don't know why but I always thought the Notch had not have PC gaming experience in FPS and TPS games prior to Minecraft where we mostly come across with both crouch and sprint mechanics all the time. In very old games, sometimes it was "C to crouch" if it was not "Ctrl" but it didn't become a common theme because crouch-jumping would be a huge pain with "C to crouch" . And if we see "C to crouch" keybind in any game, we can guess crouch-jumping isn't a thing in that game.
Just to clarify something, the difficulty does not guarantee that you have to go to a certain level, you have to look at the compass you got.
Easy -> Always level 1.
Medium -> 50% chance of deep level 1 and 50% level 2.
Hard -> 87.5% level 2 and 12.5% chance begging of level 3.
Deadly -> Level 3 (in the future there will be a chance of level 4)
Deep Frost -> Locked (in the future, always level 4)

love the vid xB!! such a wild second ever run, going all the way down to level 2 *and* surviving down there for so long. just in case you dont know, it can be beneficial to hold off on collecting the artifact even if you find where it is, cus the clank/hazard increases as soon as you pick it up. so you could find where it is, explore and get more treasure and get a better feel for the map, and then go collect and immediately book it out. have a good one man!
Great train car! I love the sniper duel with Hypno, afterwards it almost looked like the car was on fire with the arrows left behind, lol! I guess a Hermitcraft solution for vanilla music disc range could be to get a recording of a song and apply it to its own disc?

You got to see so much of Level 2 on your run-nice work! You might want a few more cards in your deck before you consistently run level 2. Treasure hunter (higher chance to drop key) along with Sneak and Stability will increase the time you can spend in the dungeon. Itty bitty favor- can you say “hello” in your fantastic way at least once in every video! It always makes me smile!

Also, it makes me sad that there is a group of ppl who are jerks about it. Whether backseat gaming, calling ppl cheaters, or talking down to ppl because they don't know the game as well as viewers who have watched 100s of hours of construction... it sucks. And trash like that makes the Hermits want to give us less DO content, not more.
If we want more DO content (I DOOOO!), then we can cheer for and encourage the Hermits when they run. We're all having fun.

There has been a significant issue with toxicity in creators' comments during Decked Out 2 and I can't understand what people get out of it. It just makes them look silly. Remember, there will always be a thousand hands holding you up for every finger pushing you down. 🖤

Amazing run into level 2 with only two cards!!! You will want to build up your deck with more cards so you can (1) survive in the dungeon longer and (2) get more treasure. How you balance that depends on how you want to play the game. Once you learn the maps and get some more artifacts to get more cards you'll be unstoppable!
I think you should start your question game while everyone is waiting for their turn at Decked Out. Everyone is there already and would probably be more fun then sticking yourself in walls.
Mumbo was mistaken about that ember seeker card….it gives chances for embers to be dispensed in the dungeon, same as treasure. **** Medium difficulty is supposed to be 50/50 chance for deep level 1 or early level 2 artifact…. you were just slightly unlucky to get level 2 artifact on your very second run. You did get some excellent knowledge, though. 👍 ***** Most people spent their first six runs on easy, building up their decks.
I honestly do not get people being rude or mean. It’s not helpful. So if you’re one of those that do then please stop. There’s a reason they are the hermits and you are the viewer.
nice one xb, also there seems to be a misunderstanding about the +X embers cards. I recall tango explained to Etho in a video: the +x embers are adding odds to the treasure drop chances that you get an ember instead of a coin/crown/key. but you definitely do not get +X at the returning of the artifact, you have to loot what "toot"ed. hope it'll help you out :)
You have a lot of shards btw, could probably swindle a few people ahead of you out of their common cards for some of your shards.. your dungeon exploration sense is A+ 🎉

You can always rekey ctrl to be sneak, if it causes you too much trouble. That's what I did when I started playing minecraft, because the game I played before had it that way, so now it seems strange to have it any other way.
