Still modern but retaining some of CLAMP’s characteristics. But since that anime failed, we got something good in return. They are gonna publish Tokyo Babylon manga again with new cover arts. They are also going to make an xxxHolic stage play.
One of my all time favorite anime songs for what will probably always be my favorite anime. Cardcaptor Sakura carries, for me, an immense sense of nostalgia and goodness.
This was not just a show for me. It laid down the very foundation for my adult life :) I didn’t even know that the “it’s alright” was being ingrained in my subconscious when I was only in elementary back then which later became my attitude for living life! It feels amazing to hear his track and watch the episodes again. Such nostalgia and beautiful memories 🥺✨

I thought the Saturday morning version played in the US was ok until I watched the original. What they did to this masterpiece in the US is criminal. The depth of this story is absolutely amazing.
I know right. I saw a good chunk of this show (completely out of order) when I was 3-5 years old and tried to re-watch the dub as an adult and I couldn't get past the 10th episode and recently started watching the Japanese versions. The Japanese version is completely different, so much complexity, depth and character development.
It's cute how Oni-chan placed a mug on top of Sakura's head 4:19, also I always get confused with this Sakura, Sakura from Monthly girls, Nozaki-kun, and Sakura from Naruto
